National Institute of Public Health Training & Research, Mumbai National Institute of Public Health Training and Research Mumbai Provides courses in the area of public health for Medical and Paramedical professionals

amily Welfare Training & Research Centre, (FWT&RC) Mumbai, was the first Family Planning Training Centre, established in June 1957 under Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at "Parekh Hospital" Building, 332, S.V.P. Road, Khetwadi, Mumbai - 4. It is one of the Central Training Institutes (C.T.I.) conducting in-service training for Medical and Paramedical personnel in key health areas to enhance their knowledge and skills for better delivery of health care services. These training are for the Central, State and District level health personnel from all over the country. The Centre is identified as a collaborating Institute for certain specialized training like Immunization, Communication, etc. Under the WHO fellowship programme for South-East Asian Region, FWT&RC has been identified as one of the Collaborating Institute. Fellows from Srilanka and Bangladesh are deputed for programmes in Gender Issues, Safe -Motherhood, Maternal and Foetal Nutrition, Management Information System and RCH. FWT&RC develops its training activities keeping in pace with the changing scenario globally and at National level. The Centre added a one year Diploma in Health Education (DHE) in 1986 affiliated to the Deemed University- International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS). The Curriculum of DHE was reviewed during a National level workshop sponsored by WHO in March 2000 and the Course was renamed as Diploma in Health Promotion Education (DHPE). Research activities include the community-based studies on RCH, HIV/AIDS and Population issues. Training Needs Assessment studies and evaluation studies are also conducted by the Centre. FWT&RC is a Regional Resource Centre in collaboration with Family Planning Association of India, Mumbai to provide training and other resources to the Mother NGOs and Field NGOs from the western zone of India.

राष्ट्रीय जनस्वास्थ्य प्रशिक्षण आणि संशोधन संस्थान मुंबई, भारत सरकार, और श्री सत्य साई संजीवनी सेंटर खारघर द्वारा, गर्भवती महिलाये और बालाकोंके लिए शुरू किये गए क्लिनिक का उद्घाटन आज दिनांक 11 ऑक्टोबर 2021 पनवेल महापालिकाके सदस्य श्री मनोहर म्हात्रे और संस्थानके निदेशक डॉ दीपक राऊत इनके करकमलों से उद्घाटन किया गया.

राष्ट्रीय जनस्वास्थ्य प्रशिक्षण आणि संशोधन संस्थेके नवीन पनवेल में प्लॉट न. 6, 6A, सेक्टर 18, स्थित नए कॅम्पसमें यह क्लिनिक हर सोमवार सुबह 10 से दोपहर 12.30 तक शुरू रहेगा जिसमे स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ महिलाओं की नियमित जाँच करेंगे.

इस अवसर पर संस्थान के निदेशक डॉ दीपक राऊतजी ने कहा की पनवेल शहर और आसपास के परिसर का विकास तेजी से हो रहा हैं, एसेमे गर्भवती महिलाओं को घर के पास स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं का लाभ मिलना जरुरी हैं. इसी उद्देश्य से संस्थान की और से यह क्लिनिक शुरू किया जा रहा हैं. जिससे खांदा गाव, नौपाडा, कामोठे, कलंबोली इस एरिया में रहने वाली महिलाओं को आसानी होगी. इस क्लिनिक में गर्भावस्था में महिलाओं की खून-पेशाब की जाँच, कॅल्शियम, आयरन, फॉलिक एसिड की गोलियां और टीकाकरण मुफ्त किया जाएगा. तथा महिलाओं को पोषण सम्बंधित सलाह दी जाएगीं.
