Maya Health Village is situated at a height of 7200 ft.on a lovely exclusive hillside, away from the road, overlooking the great Himalayan snow-clad mountains. In philosophical realms, Maya refers to cosmic illusion,
yet, Maya – The Health Village – has evolved into a reality today for two people in search of peace and tranquility in the Himalayan Mountains in the Uttarakhand state of India. They had in mind an exclusive place situated high in the hills which was cool in the summers (and of course cold in the winters). It had to be secluded and offering a spectacular view of the snow-clad Himalayas. near a serene village called Sundernagar (beautiful hamlet). Support from friends and family was instrumental in helping them illustrate an ideal called ‘Maya’ into an exclusive private landscape and home for an enriching holiday for people looking for that elusive ‘X’ factor to their vacations. In their quest for peace and tranquility of a lasting kind that only the primordial silence of the hills, their hospitable summer warmth and snow-bedecked winter glitter can provide, Hema & Amar acquired 5 acres of a hillside offering a spectacular panoramic view of the snow-capped Himalayas. Thus, discerning guests today can savor the pleasure of an unforgettable vacation at a private resort tucked into a misty mountainside. They can enjoy homespun joys of restorative sleep when stars fill the windows of their cottages facing the mystic Himalayas.
