The aims and objects for which The Academy of Indian Physiotherapists is established are as under:
1. To provide a platform for Physiotherapists to meet, dialogue, interact and deliberate.
2. To promote and establish excellence in the field of Physiotherapy Education, Practice & Research in India.
3. To make representation and liaison with various Government & Non-Government Organizations in India and Abroad.
4. To gather and provide information related to Physiotherapy for the purpose of framing guidelines, policies, rules & regulations etc.
5. To confer honor, awards, scholarships & prizes, in the interest of the profession to its members and others.
6. To accept gifts, grants, donations, raising subscriptions from the members of the association and others for providing income to the Association on such terms & conditions as may be deemed proper & necessary for the fulfillment of the Aims & Objectives of the Association.
7. To do all other Acts necessary for the benefit of Physiotherapy profession as well as those decided by the association from time to time.
