🌟 Honoured to Train in Advanced Spine endoscopy at Daejeon Woori Hospital, South Korea 🇰🇷 🌟
Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Dr. C.W. Park, fondly known around the world as “Dr. Butterfly,” at the renowned Daejeon Woori Hospital in South Korea. Dr. Park is a pioneer in UBE (Unilateral Biportal Endoscopic) Spine Surgery, and training under him has been nothing short of transformative for my clinical journey.
This visit was an enriching experience, allowing me to dive deep into the nuances of advanced UBE spine endoscopy techniques. From understanding the delicate balance of biportal navigation to mastering tissue-preserving dissection strategies, every session offered invaluable learning. Observing Dr. Park’s finesse, precision, and thought process inside the operating room was truly inspirational.
The exposure to cutting-edge technology, innovative surgical workflows, and global best practices further strengthened my commitment to bringing world-class minimally invasive spine care to India. Interacting with the team at Daejeon Woori Hospital—renowned for their discipline, efficiency, and compassion—was equally rewarding.
This training has added tremendous value to my practice, and I am excited to incorporate these refined skills into my work, especially in endoscopic spine surgery and UBE techniques that help patients recover faster with minimal pain, minimal scars, and quicker mobility.
