Stillness Speaks: The Art of Meditation
Lately, I’ve been learning what silence actually sounds like. Yes, you read that right, silence with a sound.
Not the kind that fills a quiet room, but the silence from within, when the mind finally stops chasing itself.
Over time, I’ve realised that the most gentle way to meet my thoughts is not to fight them, but to sit with them & just breathe.
Thoughts will come, loud, restless, endless.
And slowly something shifts. A small space opens up.
The ripples of thoughts still dance, but they stop making noise. They just drift by, like clouds moving through an open sky.
That’s what stillness feels like to me. It’s not an escape.
It’s not about getting it right. It’s a quiet friendship between your breath and your mind, a little handshake with your inner world.
Even two minutes of this each day, feeling your breath, your heartbeat, your aliveness —
can shift everything.
🤍Stillness is awareness.
🤍It’s the quiet of your mind.
🤍It’s peace that already exists within you.
🤍And your breath is the doorway.
So this November, try pausing for a moment.
Sit with yourself. Breathe. Listen.
The world inside and outside becomes softer
When you stop trying to fix it.
🧿 November Affirmation:
In stillness, I find my strength.
Each breath grounds me more deeply in peace.
