First things first..
Checking in with yourself means taking out time each day to ask yourself how you’re doing. In this space, you can sort out your emotions, assess your physical and emotional needs, and make an intentional plan on how to address these needs moving forward.
Why do we check-in?
-We get better at knowing what we are feeling and why
-Simply stated, if you don’t know how you feel, you can’t do anything about it.
5 Steps to check-in
1)Tune into your body,go deep
2)Take a few breaths
3)Ask yourself,How am I feeling right now?
4)Feel free to describe
5)Ask what might be contributing to these emotions
What happens?
-It becomes easy to release the difficult emotions and harness the useful emotions
So like any habit takes time to set in.Will require some efforts in the beginning, but will come easy with practice.
