In daily routine,one should always do udvartan (application of ubtan) followed by abhyang (Tail massage) to slow down ageing

Abhyang is traditional massage therapy for healthier skin done by various medicated oil.

♦️As we saw earlier that pain is due to vitiated vata.In Ayurveda,aacharya said that"शुलं नास्ति विना वातात्।।"
♦️Many of the population suffer from neck pain as well as Lower back pain.There is no such specific age group for lower back pain.
♦️Lower back pain may lead to sciatica in which there is lower back pain associated with radiating pain to one or both legs which is increased during standing/sitting or walking.
♦️If you have complaint of Constipation and Indigestion,Consult your Ayurvedic physician. These symptoms may lead to lower back pain.
♦️Yogasana plays an important role to reduce lower back pain. One must do following asanas under guidance of trained Yoga teacher.
1.Bhujangasan(Cobra pose)
2.Markatasan(Monkey twist)
3.Ushtrasan(Camel pose)
4.Shalabhasan(Locust pose)
5.Makarasan(Crocodile pose)
♦️DON'TS
✖️Frequent forward bending.
✖️Lifting heavy weight.
✖️Excessive Two-wheeler traveling.
✖️Stressful movements to lower back.
✖️Mental stress.
♦️DO'S
✔️Daily stretching exercise and yogasana.

♦️Lockdown has made us go online and use of mobile phones, laptops has increased tremendously resulting in neck pain.
♦️There are few simple steps to avoid neck pain. One must follow to get relief.
♦️Whenever there is vata vitiation in the body causes pain which may involve muscle/bone or both.
To relieve vitiated vata do Snehan(massage with coconut oil/sesame oil)followed by Swedan(hot fomentation with hot water bag/heating pad)for 10 minutes each.
♦️Avoid forward bending while sitting, using mobile or doing PC work.
♦️Avoid cold weather, chilled water,cold breeze.
♦️Do not sit or sleep below fan and AC.
♦️ Avoid stressful movements to neck.
♦️Do neck stretching exercise for 5 minute after every 15-20 minutes in case of prolonged sitting.
