Our Story

Psycho Drama Edu-Health foundation was founded to work on the mental health issues in India. We strongly believe that every individual has the ability to reach self-actualization. We are here to merely facilitate that process and help individuals who may find it difficult to reach their full potential due to social, cultural, financial or emotional difficulties. Through our NGO we want to work in the field of Mental Health and Life Skills. We want to equip children with life skills to face the challenges that lie before them.

Psycho Drama Edu-Health is a Mumbai-Pune based educational initiative started by Swarali Marathe, a counsellor and educationist with 9 years of experience in counselling and facilitation across multiple schools and colleges. Psycho Drama conducts a number of educational programs using an interdisciplinary approach, combining arts-based and therapy-based learning methods to accomplish a number of academic and co-curricular learning objectives. Currently, Psycho Drama conducts programs ranging from Art, Theatre and Art Therapy for children to Teacher Training and Parent-Child workshops, both independently and in collaboration with educational institutions. The schools we work with are affiliated to different boards, from ICSE and CBSE to IGCSE and IB schools across Mumbai and Pune. Psycho Drama has implemented programs at Sharon English High School, Aga Khan Trust, The Growing Trees Daycare centre, Jidnyasa Learning Centre (Pune) and others.
