Project One Feet: Beginning of the second lockdown was emotionally very difficult for me. I am by myself and parents are in Nigeria. It is scary and disheartening as everyday some loved ones and family are being tormented by the covid ghost! But we got to do what we got to do.
Cooking was always challenging for me, especially when I had to manage it along with the work. I assume it is for everyone. I look for easy and quick way out to create food and here is one of the way: Dhokla Pre-mix Pancake.
Just mix some water (no need for oil) in Dhokla pre-mix, slather some on the pan greased with oil, flip to cook on both sides and viola... Pancakes are ready in a jiffy.

Eat well and take care of your body.

A loved one always says to me, "Tum hai toh sab hai!" ~ "Everything is, if you are!"

Project One Feet: Ollie is a Mogra plant gifted by my dear friend and fellow therapist
I am thoroughly enjoying watering her, taking off the dead leaves, learning more about taking care of plants and most importantly watching new leaves sprouting and flowers blooming.
It is my morning ritual now to water her, talk to her, watch her and just kiss her.
She has changed some part of me so subtly.

The Heir of a Wheat Sack

Once upon a time, there was a king, who had three capable sons who could be his heir. He was confused whom to chose as the next king. So he consulted with his servant, who was close to him as well as a farmer. The servant suggested a small and simple solution.

Next day after this consult, the king summoned his sons and gave each of them a sack full of wheat. He told them, "I will be going for a piligrimage for a while. I want you each to handle these sack full of wheat with care till I come back. I may take one month, one year or more. But upon my arrival, I want you to give me back these sacks"

The first son, kept the sac securely in a very secure locker. The second son thought keeping it safe is not feasible as the wheat may turn bad. So he thought of multiplying the wheat by scattering it and growing more. Thereafter, he threw the wheat on a random piece of land, without analysing it or prepping it appropriately.

The third son, however tried to think about an appropriate way to multiply the wheat. He carefully chose a piece of land, learnt to farm and grew the crop.

When the king returned, the first son's wheat sacks were burnt to ashes and the second son's wheat grains never sprouted and he didnt care. However, it was only the third son, who managed to invest time and thought to miltiply the produce, hence he was crowned the heir.

Life provides you plenty of resources. These resources may not be as you thought they were. But every resource brings with it a novel opportubity to explore and flourish. If you invest either controlling the outcome or not focusing on it, in both cases the resources and opportunities stand wasted
