If f you are health conscious, then you may opt for a bowl of salad as if it is healthy when dining out. Arey but salads contain fresh vegetables and nice dressings to go with it, for a comprehensive meal. It's light and fresh and extremely nutritious- that is what most people think.
But do you know the reality is totally different? Those so called 'fat free' salad dressing is artificial modified. They have high level of fructose corn syrup that is extremely harmful for your health.
Why to avoid fancy salads?
Digestion issue - Eating fresh, raw vegetables may be good once in a while, but eating too much of raw veggies make it difficult for your digestive tract to break down and digest. You may start suffering from
gas, indigestion or bloating.
• Artificial preservatives - To maintain salad's freshness you need to add additives and preservatives that are not good for your health. Mostly the salad ingredients are stale and refrigerated for many days before they are given to the customer.
⚫ Causes weight gain - Instead of weight loss they cause weight gain as Sauces and dressings that have high fat and high sugar are used in their making. Some salads like Caesar salads have breadcrumbs too that add more calories to it.
• Lead to heart issues- The dressings used in these fancy salads contain high amounts of sodium. High sodium is extremely deadly as it leads to
1) High blood pressure 2) Water retention
3) Heart diseases
Having golgappas can be rewarding and fruitful in your weightloss journey. The golgappa pani is actually digestive. And the fillings of potato, chana and onion are fresh and full of nutrition. We get that the puris are fried but once in a while they don't hurt.
