AYURPRAVESHIKA – TRANSITIONAL CURRICULUM PROGRAM 2025
DAY – 13 (27/11/2025)
The first session, led by Vd. Anand S, covered “Academic Writing: Introduction to Scientific Writing & Plagiarism.” Participants learned how to properly structure research writing and use citations to avoid plagiarism — a foundation that promotes academic integrity and disciplined research writing.
In the second session, Vd. Divy Bhalodi introduced the “Orientation on National To***co Control Programme,” giving an overview of to***co de-addiction efforts and public-health measures. This raised awareness about societal health challenges and emphasized the role of health education in preventive care.
The third session, on “Ayurveda & Communication / Media Studies” by Vd. Neenu V, discussed how traditional knowledge like Ayurveda can be effectively communicated and positioned in the global wellness industry. This highlighted the importance of good communication and media-awareness for promoting holistic health traditions.
The fourth session — “वदतुसंस्कृतम्”, a Sanskrit practice session by Mr. Jaydev Gamot — aimed to improve spoken Sanskrit fluency and confidence. This helped participants connect more deeply with classical texts and traditional knowledge, especially relevant for those studying Ayurveda or classical disciplines.
In the fifth session, Vd. Mrunal Akre explained “Ayurveda Psychology,” correlating the classical concept of Satva, Rajas, and Tamas with modern psychology. This session offered a holistic perspective on mental health and temperament, bridging ancient wisdom with contemporary understandings of stress and mental well-being.
The sixth session, led by Vd. Aakash K, provided a “Basic Understanding of Ashtanga Yoga for Physical and Mental Well-being.” Participants were introduced to yoga’s principles — supporting both physical health and mental balance, reinforcing the value of integrating traditional practices for holistic wellness.
In the seventh session, “Swasthya, Satya, Seva: Ayurveda Student’s Commitment of Self, Society and World,” facilitated by Vd. Jagruti Shanishchara, students were encouraged to maintain personal health, uphold truth, and devote themselves to service. This fostered a sense of social responsibility, compassion, and ethical commitment among participants.
The eightht session, moderated by Vd. Bharat Sangle, addressed “Orientation on Co-curricular Arrangement, Indoor/Outdoor Sports Facilities, House Formation.” It focused on organizing group activities, utilising sports and co-curricular resources, and forming student houses — promoting teamwork, leadership, social bonding, and overall personality development.
