The Langza (Lanza) Buddha Statue is located in Langza village of Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh, at an altitude of around 4,400 meters (14,500+ feet) above sea level, making it one of the highest-altitude Buddha statues in the world (not the tallest by height). The seated Buddha, about 30–35 feet tall, overlooks the Spiti Valley and symbolizes peace, protection, and compassion, creating a powerful atmosphere of silence and mindfulness amid the high Himalayas, which makes the place especially meaningful for meditation and spiritual reflection.
