स्वालंबी गौशालाएं :
निराश्रित, अनुपयोगी और परित्यक्त गोवंश के लालन पालन और प्रबंधन के उद्देश्य से प्रत्येक ग्राम में एक गौशाला की स्थापना हो । ग्राम के दूध कि दृष्टि से अनुपयोगी गोवंश को यहाँ रखा जाये। उसे उत्तम नस्ल के सांड से प्राकृतिक गर्भाधान करवाकर अधिक दूध देने वाली नस्ल तैयार की जाये । फिर उसे गोपालकों को दे दिया जाय । गौशाला में प्राप्त गोबर व् गोमूत्र का समुचित प्रबंधन हो । गोबर से गोबर गैस का निर्माण कर आवश्यकतानुसार विद्युत उत्पादन, घरेलू गैस तथा CNG का निर्माण किया जाये । ग्राम का विद्युत घर यह गोशाला बन जाये । गोबर गैस कि बॉटलिंग करके घरेलू गैस का प्रयोग किया जाये तथा आवश्यकता पड़ने पर उसे परिशोधित करके CNG के रूप में पेट्रोल/डीजल का विकल्प उपलब्ध कराया जाये । ग्रामीणों को खेतों में डालने के लिए बायोगैस स्लरी, जैविक खाद, गोमूत्र के कीटनाशक-फसलरक्षक, अमृतपानी जैसे उर्वरक उपलब्ध कराये जाएँ तथा जैविक कृषि को प्रोत्साहन देकर जैविक अन्न-फल-सब्जी का उत्पादन कराया जाये । इन समस्त कार्यों का केंद्र यह ग्राम-गोशाला बने । जो ग्रामीणों को रोजगार संसाधन भी उपलब्ध कराएगी और कृषि-गोपालन कि प्रेरणास्त्रोत बनी रहेगी। यह गोशाला स्वयं तो स्वालंबी रहेगी ही, ग्रामीणों कि अर्थव्यवस्था के सुधार में भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देगी ।
गोमूत्र-गोबर से निर्मित होने वाली दैनिक उपयोग कि वस्तुएं जैसे लकड़ी, समिधा, धूपबत्ती, साबुन, कागज़, गत्ता, कीटनाशक, फिनाइल, डीटॉल इत्यादि का उत्पादन और विपणन भी इन गौशालाओं में कराया जा सकता है ।
विशेष केन्द्रों में निर्मित पंचगव्य औषधियाँ के द्वारा ग्रामीणों को स्वास्थ्य लाभ भी दिया जा सकता है ।

Uttrakhand Gausamvardhan Samiti is our managing branch and it's main objective is to establish self sustained cow shelters in villages throughout India. We rescue cows from city streets, butchers and under jurisdiction, particularly dried cows (not producing milk). They are brought to gaushalas, treated until healthy, then redistributed to villagers benefitting both cow and community. Dung is collected for production of eco friendly biogas, natural fertilizers, paper products and wood briquettes. These products save our forests and reduce waste and pollution. Villages use the natural compost and manure to grow organic crops for the community and cows as well. Completely self-reliable gaushalas where no donation is every needed!

This D.I.C. sect collects cow urine and dung from the various self sustained shelters to produce and market different types of natural, sustainable and Eco friendly products. Cow urine is processed through our innovative technology as raw material for our use along with other industries including medical stores, hospitals, government branches and stores throughout India. Currently we are processing 1,500 liters of urine per day. At our Solar Distillation plant in Koteshwar, the urine is distilled in specially designed machines running solely by the sun, therefore not consuming energy or harming the environment. Gauvidyan Anusandhan Kandra is our research and development branch that analyses the scientific properties of panchgavya to help benefit mankind and the environment. Several experiments are carried out combining the perfect proportions of cow urine, Ayurvedic herbs and other natural products including medicines and cleaning supplies. We have developed over 25 different types of cow urine based herbal medicines, which are now marketed and distributed to various sellers. They have also experimented and successfully developed 100% organic cow urine based disinfectant (phenyl) and dettol, supplying to diff departments of uttrakand government.
