Leg strength isn’t enough to keep you on the field. ❌🦵
Most ACL rehab programs focus heavily on the “big lifts”—squats, leg presses, and quad extensions. While quad strength is vital for returning to sport, it’s rotational control that keeps you safe once you’re there.
Non-contact ACL injuries rarely happen in a straight line. They happen when you’re cutting, pivoting, and decelerating. If your hips and core can’t control the rotation of your femur and tibia, your ACL graft takes the hit.
Don’t just train for symmetry; train for stability in every plane of motion. 🔄

Knees over toes” isn’t dangerous — it’s biomechanically normal.
Every time you walk downstairs, squat, lunge, or decelerate, your knees travel over your toes. Avoiding it doesn’t protect the knee — it just reduces its load tolerance.
Research shows the knee is designed to tolerate anterior translation — when progressed gradually and loaded appropriately.
The problem isn’t knees over toes.
The problem is deconditioning and poor load management.
