WHY GPAT?
Let discuss today ……why GPAT?
All the Aspirant of GPAT, know why they are appearing an examination to an extent….I will today extend the information on why GPAT?
Reason 1: To get admission in Post-graduate course (M. Pham.)
The first and the most important one, is to get admission in postgraduate course (M. Pharm.) in AICTE affiliated colleges of India and avail a junior research fellowship (JRF) during the course. The fellowship offered by AICTE for the GPAT qualified student is 13,000/- per month for daily maintenance throughout the course (2 years). Along with this AICTE also provides contingency to perform research work smoothly.
Reason 2: To get Admission for Ph.D.
The qualification in GPAT also serves you to get admission to Ph.D. in all university under exemption category according to the norms of UGC. GPAT exempts you from appearing PET (PhD entrance test) an examination conducted by every university differently to sought admission and also give you exemption from clause of having minimum of 5 year of industrial or approved academic experience.
In single line I could say Qualify once and get the eligibility for admission to master’s course in Indian institute affiliated to AICTE and doctoral course in any university endorsed by university Grant commission of India.
Note: Validity of GPAT score is two year for admission to master’s course and lifetime for Ph.D. admission.
Reason 3: To add strength in your resume.
Even if you are not interested to pursue the higher education and soon interested to join industry (any department) after your basic degree in pharmacy, I will suggest you to prepare and appear for GPAT. The reason behind this suggestion is that a resume having GPAT qualification line is 100 times better compared to resume having the line graduate in pharmacy. The GPAT qualification enhances your chance to get good opportunity in industry irrespective of department.
Reason 4: To understand the real essence of pharmacy field and to explore real potential of pharmaceutical field.
This is the last but not least reason, for me this is the most important reason for GPAT preparation. the fact is that the person who is preparing in real sense will understand this or person who had qualified GPAT examination might understand this fact. What I can finally say….
ये शहद है, इसकी मिठास चखने से ही पता चलेंगी शब्दो से ईसे समझना मुश्किल है.
