🚨 Most Nurses Make This Mistake Without Realizing! 😳

Many healthcare workers still use NS (Normal Saline) to inflate a catheter balloon… but that’s NOT recommended ❌

⚠️ Why?
Salt in NS can crystallize inside the balloon valve → leading to deflation problems → making catheter removal painful and difficult.

✅ The correct practice: Always use Sterile Water for balloon inflation.

👩‍⚕️ Small mistake. Big patient discomfort.
