🔥🔥🔥🔥
All doctors post the following message in your Facebook and twitter account that Indian doctors want PPE. Use the tag ( ) We can push it top trending and politicians will listen. Or we will loose healthcare workers like in Italy.

“We Indian Doctors request for PPE(Personal Protective Equipment). Please provide us with PPE. Working without PPE in a hospital is like going to war without a gun. Please we beg Indian government to provide us with PPE
Indian Doctors Want PPEs”

Shame on all these educated people:

Sharing a doctors story:

I m an anaesthesiologist working in Pantai Hospital Laguna Merbok PHLM. On the 18/3 (Wednesday), I was woken up from my sleep for an emergency Caesarean section. As quickly as I could, I got myself ready and drove as fast as
I could to the hospital to attend to the patient. Everything was done for the safety of my patient and baby in my mind. The caesarean was done as per normal and both mother and baby were in good condition.

After all the work done in the hospital, I went home to my family as usual. I even went to my parents house for a dinner. (For ur info, my dad is a 75 yo man who had undergone bypass surgery).

At night at about 11pm, the hospital COO messaged me to inform me that the patient’s parents were both tested COVID19 positive. Her father actually went to the tabligh gathering in KL. She lied when she filled up the declaration form during admission. She said she had no contact with anyone who was positive. She decided to disclose the information after she herself developed fever after the op. How selfish was she?😱

My heart sank after hearing the news. Not because I would be potentially infected but my family would be in danger because of my work.

Nothing could be done at 11pm. The whole night was an agony for my wife and me.

The next morning (19/3) the hospital quickly took the patient’s throat swab and sent it to KL for immediate processing. Waiting for the result was another suffering. Lo and behold, the result came back as POSITIVE. This was another nightmare for my colleagues and me.😭

The hospital arranged all my OT staffs, Labour room staffs and almost all consultants to be tested. Thank God, all our results were NEGATIVE. This waiting for the result was worse than waiting for SPM/ STPM results 😂

Even though the results were negative, some of us still need to be quarantined for 14 days.

The hospital is closed for 3 days for proper disinfectant and cleaning.

Because of one single
Selfish person,

The surgeon, anaesthesiologist, OT staffs, labour room staffs had to suffer.

The hospital has to be closed.

Please tell the truth when u consult us.. Do not hide any information from us. At least if u tell us the truth, we will be more prepared as in wearing proper PPE while doing operation. Not telling us is like ambushing us, asking us to go to war without gun and bullet proof vest.

You can't assume anymore that people are not capable of infecting you. In many cases they won't even know they're infected. [They] have to kind of assume the rest of the world is a coronavirus soup. If I don't want to end up swimming in that bowl, I need to find another place on the plate."
Do not visit the hospitals for social obligations. Try to minimize the number of attendants. Try not to visit the hospital for minor ailments or for the sake of making ANC card. Thank you....

*Golden Words to every doctor*

A patient is never a customer or consumer, let the law of the land say anything. Every patient is a life with a beating heart and a thinking brain, and you are being trusted by that patient to keep that heart beating and brain thinking. That is your responsibility today and after a thousand years as a doctor. Don't ever be carried away by pride, anger or suffering, because you are the only link between the patient and life. Every patient will not be kind to you. Some will shout, some blame, some threaten and some sue. Stay above that plane of interaction and do what you must for the good of that patient. If you feel you are not required, leave without either a harsh word or a bad feeling, because more lives wait to be saved by you, your time is far more precious.
Clinical skills, patient interaction and communication skills are on a sharp decline. We will all benefit from learning more about these. In the massive information overload that burdens us, clinical skills can form a solid ground to confidently walk upon.
The fear of committing a mistake is universal among doctors, please learn to develop your own individual strategy to overcome that fear. Please make your own standardised history-taking questions and examination format, and never ever skip a single step in that. Writing your differential diagnosis is the best strategy to learn and eliminate mistakes. Overconfidence is the biggest risk for a doctor!
Be the best soul that your patient meets.
Even the most illiterate or rural patient will notice your words, manners and etiquette. These must always be perfect.
My dear ones, enjoy every moment of the holiest path that you have chosen to tread upon earth. May God keep you protected and happy, and may each one of you save a million lives.
God bless🙏🏻
