About Trust:
Agrawal Vikas Trust, Surat was founded by Late Shri. Foolchand Bansal in 1990 with the view of providing better social, financial, educational and medical growth to the people of Agrawal community. After forming a trust on 15 October 1990, the foundation store for the Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan (Hall) was laid down on 2nd March 1994 by acquiring a land of 5400 sq. yard in the City Light area of Surat. The responsibility of building & development of the Hall was put up on the strong shoulders of Shri Foolchand Bansal, Shri Dhanshyam Das Bansal, Shri Hari Om Garg and Shri Chandrabhan Khoradiya with the aim of building such a world-class and artistic hall that people would come to visit it from foreign countries as well. The hall was then inaugurated by Shri. Foolchand Bansal and laid open for the welfare & service to the people of Surat on 5th September 1998. The management of the Trust was handled by the Foundation Manager Shri Nandkishor Gupta, Asst. Manager Shri Jitendra Arya, Minister Shri Maman Chand Gupta and many other honorable persons. To achieve any big social welfare goal is not an easy task and requires strong faith within you. Hundreds of Agrawal people showed their willingness to come ahead in this difficult task of building such a strong community. The support, trust and dedication of the Agrawal people towards the Trust have been extra-ordinary. Dedicated people, financial aid and proper support are the three main pillars to achieve the goal of forming a successful Trust. Agrawal Vikas Trust received support & service from people having far-off vision, monetary aid from financially sound people and the trust & support from all the people of the community. And so, it is only this true dedication of the people of Agrawal community that the Trust became such a respected Organization in providing social service and achieved the honor to be amongst the most reputed Agrawal Trusts in India.
