The Dept of Oral Medicine & Radiology PDCH Udaipur celebrated National Oral Medicine and Radiology day on 24th April 2023 in association with IAOMR ( Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology ) by organising an Awareness lecture, Rangoli making and quiz competition for the UG students and Interns of the College on the relevance of Oral Medicine and Radiology in Dentistry. Dr.Tejinder Bansal , Prof. Dept of OMR , RR Dental College , Udaipur , Rajasthan was the Guest Speaker of the event.

Sharing a case of Calcified solitary nodule below the Supra orbital margin R orbit unattached to nearby bone , with probable radiographic diagnosis of Heteroplastic / Extra-skeletal Mixed Osteoma or Phlebolith ? detected coincidentally on a Dental CBCT ( Cone Beam Computer Tomography ) scan performed on a 60 year old female for evaluation of dental pathology Left Maxilla. The scans were performed on CS 9300 Carestream CBCT Machine with FOV 10X10cms ; Slice thickness/voxel size : 300 microns and Slice spacing 1mm. Seeking expert opinion from colleagues. Regards

Exploring the imaging virtuosity and potential of Dental/ Maxillofacial CBCT ( Cone Beam Computed Tomography) by doing a 3D scan of Left Wrist on Carestream CS9300 CBCT at 10x10fov and 300microns VOXEL size , in the Dept. of Oral Medicine and Radiology , Pacific Dental College and Hospital , Debari, Udaipur (Raj.). The scan helped to detect a green stick # of the scaphoid bone Left Wrist on 3D MPR , Medial ( Sagittal) and Axial views with thick sized slices. The # was unclear on 2D imaging.
