Comprehensive Health Services and Research Centre Berean Medical Association is a Christian charitable organization but with an inter-denominational outlook.

It is formed by a group of like-minded people with zeal and calling to serve the underprivileged and marginalized groups of people. In the midst of hi-tech advancements, there are still people who have no access to basic healthcare or health education. Holistic Healthcare is our thrust - physical, mental and spiritual. With this goal in view, BMA has launched various projects to meet the urgent needs of the rural areas especially of Manipur, Ukhrul district in particular. Projects thus come under the two heads - Comprehensive Health Services and Research Centre (CHSRC) and Compassion in Action Ministries (CIAMs).

Coinciding with the inauguration of the new Critical Care and Trauma Centre of CHSRC, a free eye camp with emphasis on cataract surgery for the senior citizens was held from 12th-15th of March 2013 with help from Dr. Chingkup and Sharon Konyak of Mercy Eye Centre, Dimapur.

The Critical Care & Trauma Centre is currently being given the finishing touches and is on its way to becoming a functional unit hopefully by January second/third week.The foundation stone for this was laid on 14th January 2011 by the then Berean Medical Association Board Chairman Revd.Aping Khamrang.

On it's 4th Founding/Thanksgiving Day (14 January 2011), CHSRC has installed and dedicated the Color Doppler Ultrasonography machine and laid the foundation stone for Critical Care and Trauma Centre, both a first of it's kind in the district. Continue to uphold CHSRC and it's ministry in your prayers.
