🔥 Holika Dahan Night (2 March 2026 – Evening)
This is the release phase.
Before or during the bonfire:
Offer these into the fire (in small quantities):
• Black sesame seeds → symbolic of karmic residue release
• Jaggery → softens harsh planetary influences
• Dry coconut → represents ego shedding
• Cloves or camphor → purification of mental negativity
Mentally resolve to let go of one recurring emotional burden.
Rituals without intention are just well-dressed habits.
Circumambulate the fire 3 or 7 times while silently invoking protection for family stability and emotional peace.
Parents may especially pray for children's mental strength and academic clarity — fire rituals have long been associated with sharpening focus and dissolving anxiety patterns.
