🧪 Unani Taalimaat: How to Prepare the Laban-e-Qadam Khaatir (Bone-Setting Milk)

📝 Ingredients:

🌿 Qadam Khaatir (Cissus quadrangularis) – 10 to 15 gm fresh stem (cut into pieces)

🥛 Doodh (Cow’s or Almond/Coconut milk) – 150–200 ml

💧 Aab-e-Sada (Plain water) – 150–200 ml

👨‍⚕️ Tariqa-e-Tayyar (Method of Preparation):

1. 🌿 Wash and finely chop the fresh stems of Qadam Khaatir.

2. 🫕 Add them into a saucepan with milk and equal quantity of water.

3. 🔥 Simmer on low flame until the mixture reduces to half (approx. 1 glass).

4. 🧉 Strain and consume lukewarm.

✅ Dosage: Once or twice daily – preferably on empty stomach, or 2 hours after meals if stomach is sensitive.
📆 Duration: Continue for 4–8 weeks based on severity of the kasr (fracture).

Avoid the following during bone healing as they cause tafarruq-e-ittisaal (delayed tissue union) and increase sue-mizaj:
