Foot scrubs to get rid of dark feet easily
A woman looks beautiful and stunning if she has a perfect personality and the appearance includes everything from head to toe. Some females are more conscious about the upper part of the body and ignore the lower part especially feet. If the feet are overlooked for long, they tend to lose their tenderness and become dark and rough. Taking care of feet is as important as paying attention to your figure and outfit. Here are some suggestions for you to get rid of dark feet easily.
Scrub made from Masur(Red) lentils: Masur lentils can be used as a scrub to remove dead skin and darkness from the feet.
Preparation
Soak the lentils overnight and strain them in the morning to remove water. Grind the lentils to make a rough paste to be used as a scrub.
Application
Wash the feet thoroughly and dry them using towel. Use this paste on your feet. Gently massage the paste and wash again after few minutes. For still better effects, mix this masur lentils paste with honey. You will find the difference immediately.
You can use some moisturizer or Vaseline on your feet after this treatment.
Scrub made from oatmeal and milk: Make your feet soft and glowing with oatmeal foot scrub.
Preparation
Mix oat meal with milk or rose water and leave it for few minutes. You can grind it to make a rough paste or use as it is.
Application
Apply on the feet and leave it to dry. Now, you can scrub it to remove tanning and dry skin. After that wash your feet with cold water and pat dry. You can use foot care cream or moisturizer on your feet after scrubbing.
Use this treatment regularly for best results.

I think you all have tasted a cup of coffee for refreshment-right! Have you ever used coffee powder on your feet? If not, let’s use it.
When your feet are weary or suffering from sun tan and you have no time to visit a parlor then the best scrub that you can use is coffee with coconut oil.
Preparation
Just mix coffee powder with coconut oil to make a thick paste. Prepare a water and soap tub for cleaning the feet.

Application
After soaking the feet for some time in this tub, rub this paste on your feet in circular manner, clockwise and anticlockwise. Wash the feet with warm water and pat dry.
This will remove the dead skin from the feet and leave the talipes neat and radiant.

Lemon-Sugar Scrub: An extremely easy and quick way to get rid of dark feet is Lemon-Sugar Scrub. You can use the scrub daily even if you are an office goer and you have to reach your destination on time. This scrub can be used while you are taking shower. Just rub it and wash it.
Preparation
Sugar makes one of the best scrubs when mixed with lemon juice. Mix these two ingredients and rub on the dry areas of your feet for about 15 minutes. You can mix olive oil and ginger to this mixture in winters. Sugar is an exfoliator and olive oil is a moisturizer. Ginger helps you feel warmer in winters. Simply mixing sugar with lemon juice makes an awesome scrub to be used daily.
Application
Apply the mixture daily before you go for a bath. Use it on the feet by rubbing to remove tanning and dead skin.
This scrub will show its effect after one week and if you are going to use it regularly, that will be perfect! The problem of dark feet will be over forever.
Precautions: Take care not to mix the sugar with water as it will lose its scrubbiness.

Foot scrub from Sugar and Peppermint: Peppermint is well known for its antimicrobial and soothing properties. It has a cooling effect when applied on the skin externally and help in getting rid from sun tan also. And as said earlier sugar is a good scrub when used with different ingredients.
Sugar and Peppermint oil when mix together makes a wonderful scrub that not only exfoliates the skin of the feet but also freshen up the tired feet and stimulates skin repair.
Preparation
What you have to do is to visit the kitchen and find these two ingredients. Mix them to make a thick paste to be rubbed easily on the skin. You can make a home-pedicure when you mix glycerin in the above mixture. Anyways, without glycerine also this mixture is an ultimate scrub.
Application
Wash your feet with normal water and pat dry. Massage the feet with the mixture for about 20 minutes and leave it for a while. Now, wash your feet and apply some foot cream if you wish to.
You can use this scrub two to three times in a week to get the best effects.

UV rays are said to harm the skin in many ways and the most common form is Tanning. Studies says that these harmful ultraviolet rays can cause skin cancer, premature ageing and wrinkles.
The Times Of India, Delhi(8 march 2017) says:
“Ultraviolet radiation from the sun can not only increase the risk of skin cancer but can also contribute to skin ageing. Moreover, other forms of radiation, such as heat and visible light can negatively impact the skin. So protecting Thinkstock Photos Getty Images your skin from the environment can benefit both your health and appearance,“ says Arianne Shadi Kourosh from the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, US.
Prevention:
Avoid tanning to protect your skin from losing health and beauty. The best way to avoid tanning is to use a broad spectrum sunscreen whenever you are going out to face the sunlight directly. Another precaution is to cover your exposed body parts with cotton cloth and wear a hat and sunglasses.
Home Remedies to cure tanning:
Use of Ice- The immediate treatment of sunburn is the use of ice on the affected areas.
Lemon- Lemon is friendly to skin. It is said to have bleaching properties. So, use lemon on your skin wherever you feel tanning or dark skin.
Yoghurt, Turmeric powder and gram flour- Prepare a pack of Yoghurt, Turmeric Powder and gram flour and apply it to your skin and leave it for 20 minutes and then wash it with cold water. This pack will help you get clearer and moisturized skin naturally.
Sandalwood pack- Sandal wood has cooling properties and it is very safe for the skin. Make a sandalwood pack mixing sandalwood powder with water or rose water and apply this thick paste to your face and other tanned parts. Leave it for some 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it. You can use this pack daily in summers.
