Please note - Food options that say can be consumed daily = one meal of the day, these meal options do not replace the daily must have foods like daal,cashew,fruits,seasonal veggies,aliv-gardencress seeds, sabza seeds etc however they should be added as one of the meal per day depending on frequency mentioned...

How to consume?

Rice Idli- With sambhar & coconut chutney
Arbi - As sabzi/curry/boiled
Sabudana - Khichdi/vada
Karela- Bharva or cut vegetable
Paneer - Parantha /curry/bhurji
Jowar- Roti with ghee Jaggery / simple roti /cheela with veggies
Sweetpotato - Boiled/baked or sabzi

PS: Make sure to use MUSTARD OIL OR GHEE for cooking do not use readymade batter / frozen items

Poha with Peanuts is an ideal,quick to prepare, it takes lesser or equal time than preparing maggie or pancake/ idli instant mixes but its benifits are endless -

Light on the stomach
Cures Constipation
Has healthy carbs
Diabetes friendly
Rich in Iron
Peanuts help in PCOS/PMS
Peanuts make it Heart Friendly
Peanuts make it rich in Protiens and Micronutrients
Kids friendly

Recipe -
Wash poha in a strainer
Heat oil preferably mustard (we promise you won't smell it if you fume it well 😊)
Add curry leaves + Greenchilli+ One chopped onion+ sarso seeds in hot oil
After two mins add one tea spoon sugar(skip for for diabetics)salt+ haldi
Now add washed poha and stir well
Sprinkle some water if poha looks too dry
Cook for 5 mins and turn off flame
Now add roasted Peanuts +Chopped Coriander and Lemon Juice and enjoy ❤️
You can also garnish with some grated coconut if you like the taste.

PS: You can also add fried potatoes and chopped veggies of your choice.

Chai is an important part of our life and a special chai masala recipe can actually make tea an immunity booster, this is a recipie you can't afford to not follow!
Specialy now we are stepping out of our homes and we need all the protection in the world possible ❤️

Immunity Masala Chai Recipe -

One tablespoon Elaichi Powder
Half tablespoon Laung Powder
Half tablespoon Black Pepper Powder
Half tablespoon Nutmeg Powder
1/4 tablespoon Dry Ginger Powder
1/4 tablespoon Cinnamon Powder

Grind the above ingredients smooth and add half teaspoon per cup in your chai along with crushing some fresh Ginger & Tulsi Leaves in it!
Refrigerate the remaining mixture in a air tight container.

On rotation - Seasonal fresh fruits
Vegetables :

All seasonal veggies in rotation specialy beetroot ,mint,coriander,lemon,sweetpotato,cucumber
Tips & tricks -If your kid doesn't like veggies adapt below techniques -

Boil blend and in dough or boil rice in blended vegetable water or
Chop boil & mash with potatoes in cutlets or
Make pakoras with thickly grinded paste of healthy veggies
Lentils :

Toor,moong(green yellow) chana, kulith, masoor,black chana, rajma, chole
Tips & tricks -
Less liked daals like moong can be soaked overnight and grind them into paste and make cheelas or
Boil and mash daals and add to the roti dough or
You can also make daal chawal fried bites
Chana and rajma can be consumed as curries or cutlets both
Dosa idli with fresh homemade batter should be given atleast once a week

Evening Snacks :
Aata / besan laddoo with gond and dry fruits
Home made mathri
Roasted makhana/ peanuts with ghee and curry leaves
Peanut brittle
Popcorn with dried corn kernels and added butter
Desighee fried french fries
PS: Use Desi ghee or Kachi Ghani mustard oil on priority, keep a through check on water intake of yours kids.
