योगावास में हमारा प्रयास यह भी है कि हम लोगों का साक्षात्कार उस योग से करवा सकें जिसका उल्लेख भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने भगवद गीता में किया है। भगवद गीता (2.50) में प्रभु श्री कृष्ण कहते हैं, “योगः कर्मसु कौशल” अर्थात कर्म में कौशल ही योग है। हमारी योग आधारित विभिन्न गतिविधियों में भी यही भाव अंतर्निहित है। हमारी इन योग कार्यक्रमों का यही उद्देश्य है कि व्यक्ति जीवन जीने का कौशलसीखे, और मन को नियंत्रित करना सीखे। योगावास के कार्यक्रम व्यक्ति को कार्यकुशल बनाते हैं।
