Chinese scientists have developed a revolutionary bio-glue, known as Bone 02, that can repair fractures in as little as 2–3 minutes. Inspired by oyster proteins, this adhesive not only bonds bone instantly but also withstands more than 400 pounds of force, making it stronger than many metal-based fixation methods.
Unlike traditional screws or plates, Bone 02 naturally dissolves within six months, allowing the body to heal without leaving permanent implants behind. This breakthrough could dramatically change orthopedic surgery, reducing recovery times and making fracture treatment safer, faster, and far less invasive.
