Brisk walking is one of easiest and best ways to keep Fit, Healthy and lose weight.
If you walk minimum 7000- 8000 steps a day you can stay Fit.
If you walk over 10000 steps then you are burning more calories.
If you want weight loss then along with your daily workout see to it that in the entire day you complete at least 8000 steps.
Monitoring your activity daily is one step to success.
To lose weight you need to burn more calories than you consume.
If you burn 7000 calories a week then you can lose 1 kg a week.

So Start counting your steps from today.

Hiking: The best Quality time with family in a healthy way.
Howth cliff walk in Dublin was an amazing experience and a great family time with my husband and son. This is one of the best coastal walks. Climbing along the sea side was an outstanding experience and a lovely physical activity with loved ones.

Asmi Mukadam is a trader by profession, her story is that of millions of women- wife, mother, working professionals. So many hats to wear, so little time for self. Asmi noticed her weight has been increasing consistently inspite of doing some moderate physical activity. She was in search of guidance for diet and exercise so she tried many weight loss diets from Google which only ended with weakness and low self esteem. According to World Health organization approx 2 million deaths per year are attributed to physical inactivity. Sedentary lifestyle leads to many lifestyle diseases and depression.
Taking up walking on a regular basis can help you reduce weight while also improving joint, hip, and knee pain.
But your pace or intensity of walking depends on how frequently have you been going for walks and your BMI. Walking even 7500 steps per day of which 3,000 of those—the equivalent of 30 minutes—should be done at a brisk pace, could be enough to even prevent type II diabetes and make you healthier, if possible daily 10000 steps and proper nutrition adopted as your goal will help you live a healthy active lifestyle and lose some weight.
