Can’t lift your arm? Don’t ignore it.

If no one can lift your arm → It may be Frozen Shoulder.
If someone can lift it but it drops → It may be a Rotator Cuff Tear.

⚠️ Especially common in:
• Diabetic patients
• Elderly individuals
• After sudden jerky movements
• Post shoulder surgery

Delaying treatment can damage the joint permanently and may lead to shoulder replacement.

Early MRI + timely repair can save your natural shoulder.

Mild knee stiffness, pain while climbing stairs, and morning tightness are often early signs of cartilage damage. If left untreated, this condition can gradually progress to arthritis and make daily movements more difficult. Early evaluation helps prevent long-term joint deterioration. In advanced cases, modern robotic-assisted surgery offers greater precision, preserves natural joint movement, and supports faster recovery. Timely diagnosis today can help you avoid major surgery in the future.

⚽ ACL tear? Career khatam?
❌ Absolutely NOT.

ACL injury is common in sports — especially during sudden twisting or landing movements. Since the ligament lies inside the joint, it doesn’t heal on its own and often requires reconstruction.

The good news?
With modern arthroscopic surgery and proper rehab, you can return to sports in about 6 months.

🏃‍♂️ Many athletes resume running, football, trekking—even competitive sports.

Delaying treatment can cause:
• Meniscus damage
• Repeated falls
• Early arthritis

Get evaluated. Get treated. Get back stronger.

Bilateral total hip replacement using the Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) offers a game-changing, muscle-sparing option for patients needing both hips addressed in one go. This minimally invasive technique accesses the joint through a natural muscle interval, leading to quicker recovery and fewer complications compared to traditional methods.
Key Advantages
• Faster Recovery: Patients often walk sooner, enjoy shorter hospital stays, and resume daily activities faster due to preserved muscles and less tissue trauma.
• Lower Dislocation Risk: By avoiding posterior structure disruption, DAA enhances hip stability—crucial for bilateral cases where balance matters most
• Less Pain and Muscle Damage: Studies show superior early gait improvement, reduced blood loss, and better functional outcomes versus posterior or lateral approaches.
Ideal for Bilateral Cases
DAA shines in simultaneous bilateral procedures—no position changes needed, enabling supine surgery that simplifies anesthesia and ensures symmetric leg length. Patients report higher satisfaction with rapid pain relief and enhanced mobility, making it a top choice for active lifestyles.
Ready to ditch hip pain? Consult your surgeon about DAA today!

🏃 Started running after years… and now sudden foot or hip pain?

It could be a stress fracture.

This happens when your bones are exposed to repetitive stress beyond their limit — especially if you suddenly increase activity without proper conditioning.

⚠️ X-ray may look normal. MRI often shows the real problem.

The good part?
Most stress fractures heal in 3–6 weeks with rest, activity modification, and proper nutrition.

Listen to your body.
Pain is not weakness — it’s feedback.

🏃‍♂️ Want to avoid sports injuries?

Warm-up before you start. Cool-down after you finish.

That’s the golden rule.

Whether you’re playing a sport or hitting the gym, activating your muscles before activity and stretching them after helps reduce pain, soreness, and injury risk.

⏳ Short on time? Reduce your workout time — but never skip warm-up and cool-down.

Prevention today = Pain-free tomorrow.

Dr Subhash Jangid - Specialist in Hip & Knee Surgeon & Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr Subhash Jangid is currently working as Director and Head, Orthopaedics & Joint Reconstruction at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon. His primary work comprises of knee, hip and shoulder joints related surgeries including replacement. He has a vast experience of more than 19 years and 10000 surgeries in the field of Orthopaedics.

He is now a known faculty in the field of Arthroplasty/Joint Replacement in India and abroad. He is also a faculty for AO trauma courses. He was the first surgeon in India, who used NAV 3 computer navigation for knee replacement surgery. He is one of the most experienced joint replacement surgeon in computer navigation technique in the world. This technique gives better results to the patients and the recovery is faster and almost painfree as compared to the conventional technique.

Dr Subhash Jangid is also trained in Partial knee replacement surgery. Many advanced knee osteoarthritic patients have all ligaments intact and the disease is limited to one compartment of the knee. These are the right candidates for partial knee replacement. The knee actually feels more like natural knee after this surgery.

Dr Subhash has also introduced the NAVIO Robot for knee replacement surgeries at FMRI, Gurgaon. The Robot further increases the accuracy of the surgery and the patient feels more like natural knee after surgery. The robot helps the surgeon in Dynamic Gap Balancing of the knee and thus prevent the mid flexion instability of the replaced knee. This improves the patient confidence in stair climbing and standing from sitting position after knee replacement.
