The Department of Pediatric and Preventative Dentistry at Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College and Hospital conducted a one-day CDE program on “Naso Alveolar Molding,” delivered by Dr. Vinod Kumar at the dental auditorium. The lecture provided clear insights into NAM techniques and their clinical importance. A hands-on session followed, allowing participants to gain practical experience. Postgraduate students, interns, and final-year students actively participated, making the workshop highly interactive and enriching.

The IDEA Event 2025 held at Marwadi University from 29–30 November emerged as a dynamic platform for young start-ups to showcase innovations, display prototypes, and pitch ideas to potential investors.

“Students from the Nootan Institute of Design and Communication, Sankalchand Patel University, participated under the expert coordination of Dr. Dinkar Kumawat, presenting three outstanding creative and research-driven projects.”

✨ “Garden to Garment” – A sustainable fashion project by Ms. Disha Patel & Ms. Divya Patel, transforming floral waste into eco-friendly dyes and textiles.
✨ “Temple Wall to Traditional Wear” – A cultural innovation by Ms. Chetana Chauhan, inspired by temple architecture and carvings for contemporary ethnic garments.
✨ Denim Blouse with Hand Embroidery – A handcrafted fusion fashion piece by Ms. Yavni Patel, blending modern silhouettes with traditional embroidery.

💼 Through this platform, students gained hands-on exposure to startup pitching, investor interaction, and valuable industry feedback, enhancing confidence and entrepreneurial skills.

We are pleased to share that an expert session was successfully organized for the faculty members of NACRC on the topic: “Sensitization to QCI Framework: Assessment & Rating of Ayurveda Institute” delivered by Dr. Mahesh Kundagol, Principal, B. G. Garaiya Ayurveda College and Hospital, Rajkot, Gujarat had provided valuable guidance. Expert had delivered insights and expertise greatly enriched the understanding of the QCI assessment framework and its significance in strengthening Ayurveda institutes.

The Department of Community Medicine, NMCRC, organized a World AIDS Day awareness program on 1st December 2025 at Nootan General Hospital, Visnagar, with the aim of increasing awareness about HIV/AIDS and promoting early detection and prevention.
The main objectives of the program were to educate the community about modes of transmission, preventive measures, the importance of regular testing, and the need to reduce stigma associated with HIV.

The event saw active participation from medical students, faculty members, hospital staff, and community members, demonstrating a strong collective commitment to the fight against HIV/AIDS. Various educational activities, including interactive sessions, health talks, and counseling demonstrations, were conducted to enhance knowledge and encourage responsible health-seeking behavior. Through this initiative, the Department of Community Medicine reinforced the message that “early detection saves lives,” motivating individuals to take proactive steps towards protecting their health, supporting affected individuals, and contributing to a healthier and more informed community.

Today, we inaugurated a state-of-the-art Level-3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Nootan General Hospital—a significant milestone in our commitment to comprehensive healthcare for North Gujarat.

This advanced facility features 20 beds equipped with cutting-edge life-saving technology, dedicated to providing critical care for neonates with severe medical conditions. Operating 24×7 with specialist neonatologists and expert medical professionals, the NICU ensures round-the-clock expert care for our youngest and most vulnerable patients.

The inauguration was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Ashish Mehta, Director & Consultant Neonatologist at Arpan Newborn Care Centre, Ahmedabad, a renowned expert in neonatal care.

Alongside this healthcare milestone, we inaugurated an Automatic Diesel Dispenser with a 2 KL capacity at our university campus. This modern infrastructure facility, managed by our Transport Department, represents our commitment to operational efficiency and sustainable resource management, enhancing the functionality of our university fleet.

These inaugurations—one focused on saving lives through advanced healthcare, the other on operational excellence—reflect our founder Shri Sankhalchandbhai Patel's enduring legacy. Under the visionary leadership of University President Shri Prakash Patel, Provost Dr. P.M. Udani, and Registrar Dr. Parimal Trivedi, we continue to transform his vision into reality through education, healthcare, and sustainable infrastructure development.

On this memorable day, November 28, 2025, tributes were paid at various statues of Dada across Visnagar, beginning at 8:30 AM at the APMC Ganj Bazar. University President Shri Prakash Patel, along with distinguished civic leaders including APMC Chairman Shri Jayantibhai Patel, Vice Chairman Shri Bharatbhai Chaudhary, Municipal President Shri Uttambhai Patel, Taluka BJP President Shri Rajeshbhai Patel, former Mahesana District BJP President Shri Jashubhai Patel, and various social, educational, and cooperative leaders, paid their heartfelt tributes. Members of Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal, including Trustees, University Provost Dr. P.M. Udani, Registrar Dr. Parimal Trivedi, Principals, Deans, and faculty members, joined in honoring his memory with flower garlands and prayers at multiple locations—APMC Gate, Nootan School Campus, Harichhand Gate, Adarsh Vidyalaya, and the University Gate.

In keeping with Dada's legacy of educational excellence, a special commemorative program was organized at Shri N.V. Patel Girls School, managed by North Gujarat Kumar Kanya Kelvani Mandal. Students paid heartfelt tributes through prayers, devotional songs, and traditional performances. The highlight of the event was an outstanding presentation by Class 10 student Archi Suthar from Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya, who eloquently shared the life story and character of Shri Sankhalchandbhai Patel, inspiring her peers to follow in his footsteps of service and dedication.

Sankalchand Patel University celebrated National Constitution Day with various awareness activities, honoring the makers of the Indian Constitution and reaffirming the commitment to constitutional values. 🇮🇳

The event began with the Preamble reading at 11:00 AM, reflecting on the ideals of Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. NSS volunteers, students, and faculty members actively participated.

A guidance session on the history, formation, and key features of the Constitution inspired students to understand its significance in India’s democratic journey.

Remembering Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s inspiring words — “Constitution is not a mere Lawyers document, it is a vehicle of Life…” — participants pledged to uphold democratic values.
