أيها الزملاء الأطباء، الإخوة والأخوات،

في يوم الطبيب العراقي، نرفع رؤوسنا فخراً برسالتنا السامية. أنتم جنود الصحة الذين لا يعرفون اليأس، وحماة الأرواح في أحلك الظروف.

لقد كنتم دوماً عماد الأمل وسند الوطن. في العيادات وغرف العمليات والطوارئ، تظلون أيقونات العطاء والإنسانية.

هذا اليوم تجديد للعهد: أن نبقى يداً واحدة متمسكين بأخلاق مهنتنا، مؤمنين بأن خدمة شعبنا هي أشرف غاية.

كل عام وأنتم رمز التضحية والفخر، ورجال العراق الذين يصنعون المعجزات.

*كلية الطب بجامعة بغداد تستعد لافتتاح بناية فرع التشريح بحلة جديدة.

في إطار خططها التطويرية المستمرة، تشهد كلية الطب بجامعة بغداد استعدادات واسعة لافتتاح بناية فرع التشريح بعد إنجاز عملية تأهيل كبرى شملت طوابق البناية ومرافقها المختلفة، بما في ذلك قاعات ومختبرات فرعي التشريح والفيزيولوجي، لتعزيز البيئة العلمية والبحثية للطلبة والتدريسيين.

وقد قام عميد كلية الطب الأستاذ الدكتور أمين عبد الحسن مانع العلواني، يرافقه معاون العميد للشؤون الإدارية الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور حيدر ماجد الزيدي، بجولة ميدانية تفقدية يوم الأحد الموافق 28 أيلول الجاري، اطلع خلالها على مراحل الإنجاز ومساهمات طواقم العمل للشعب الهندسية والخدمية في الجامعة والكلية، التي بذلت جهوداً متميزة لإنجاز المشروع وفق أعلى المعايير.

وأكد السيد العميد أن هذا المشروع يأتي تجسيداً لحرص الكلية على توفير بيئة تعليمية حديثة تواكب متطلبات التطوير الأكاديمي والبحث العلمي، مشيداً بروح التعاون والمسؤولية التي أبداها العاملون لإنجاز هذه الخطوة المهمة.

وبهذا الإنجاز، تواصل كلية الطب بجامعة بغداد ريادتها في تطوير بناها التحتية بما يعزز مسيرتها الأكاديمية ويهيئ طلبتها وتدريسيها لمستقبل علمي مشرق.

College of Medicine, University of Baghdad Prepares to Inaugurate the Renovated Anatomy Department Building

As part of its ongoing development plans, the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad is making extensive preparations to inaugurate the newly renovated building of the Department of Anatomy. The comprehensive rehabilitation project included the building’s floors and facilities, encompassing the lecture halls and laboratories of both the Departments of Anatomy and Physiology, thereby enhancing the scientific and research environment for students and faculty alike.

On Sunday, September 28, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan Mani' Al-Alwani, accompanied by the Administrative Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Majid Al-Zaidi, conducted an on-site inspection tour. During the visit, they reviewed the stages of completion and the contributions of the engineering and service units of the university and the college, who exerted outstanding efforts to complete the project in accordance with the highest standards.

The Dean affirmed that this project embodies the college’s commitment to providing a modern educational environment that aligns with the requirements of academic and research advancement. He praised the spirit of collaboration and responsibility demonstrated by the working teams in achieving this important milestone.

With this achievement, the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad continues its leadership in developing its infrastructure, strengthening its academic mission, and preparing its students and faculty for a bright scientific future.

*معاً نحمي أنفسنا من الأورام السرطانية… حملة بنفسجية تنطلق من طب بغداد لتزرع الوعي وتكرّس الوقاية.

برعاية الأستاذ الدكتور أمين عبد الحسن مانع العلواني، عميد كلية الطب – جامعة بغداد، وبالتعاون مع فريق الأورام النسائية في مستشفى بغداد التعليمي، نظّم فرع النسائية والتوليد في الكلية فعالية موسعة شملت احتفالية وندوة علمية توعوية تحت شعار:

“معاً نحمي أنفسنا من الأورام السرطانية”
وذلك بمناسبة شهر التوعية بالأورام النسائية، وبحضور جمع من الأساتذة والطلبة والأطباء والمهتمين بالشأن الصحي.

🟣كلمة راعية بالموقف… واللون البنفسجي” يتحول إلى حملة مستدامة

افتتح الفعالية عميد الكلية الأستاذ الدكتور أمين عبد الحسن مانع العلواني بكلمة مؤثرة أكّد فيها أن:

“اليوم بدأنا باللون البنفسجي، لون الأمل، والقوة، والشجاعة… لدينا رسالة أكاديمية وإنسانية، تتجسد في دعم المرأة وصحتها النفسية والجسدية، التوعية ليست فعلاً موسمياً، بل نهج دائم، وثقافة مؤسسية، وعلينا أن نكون روادها.”

كما أعلن العميد عن إطلاق “حملة اللون البنفسجي” في كلية الطب – جامعة بغداد، لتكون الحملة مستمرة على مدار العام، من خلال الملصقات التوعوية والشاشات الإلكترونية داخل الكلية، دعماً للفحص المبكر، ونشر ثقافة الوقاية، والتنسيق مع وزارة الصحة ومراكز الأورام لتقديم أفضل الدعم للنساء.

ودعا إلى إنشاء وحدة بحثية خاصة بالأورام النسائية داخل الكلية، تعمل على تطوير المعرفة، وتعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والطبي، والمساهمة في السياسات الصحية الوطنية المعنية بهذا المجال.

🟣بدأت الندوة العلمية بمحاضرة للدكتور نوفل عزو، التي ركّز فيها على:
• الوصمة المجتمعية المرتبطة بالأمراض السرطانية، وضرورة نشر الوعي وبناء ثقة المواطن بالنظام الصحي وبالكوادر الطبية.
• التوصية لطلبة المرحلة السادسة بالتركيز على التعاطف والإنصات للمريض داخل العيادات والمستشفيات.
• أهمية تعزيز مهارات التكيف لدى المريض من خلال الدعم النفسي والطبي.
• دور الأطباء في المناصرة الصحية، وتقديم مقترحات لصنّاع القرار بشأن نشر ثقافة اللقاح وأهميته في الوقاية من الأورام.

🟣تلتها محاضرة للدكتورة عفراء محجوب، رئيس فرع النسائية والتوليد، تحدثت فيها عن:
• سرطان عنق الرحم، وانتشاره في أوساط النساء.
• الفحص المبكر واللقاح كأدوات وقائية فعالة.
• تفنيد الخرافات الطبية، والتأكيد على أن الثقافة الصحية السليمة تقي من التأخر في التشخيص.
• ضرورة تفعيل دور العيادات الأكاديمية في نشر التوعية.

🟣واختتمت الندوة بمحاضرة الدكتورة إخلاص جبار، التي تناولت:
• أنواع الأورام النسائية وكيفية إيصال المعلومات للمريضة دون ترويع، مع احترام أخلاقيات المهنة.
• التوعية حول اللقاح وأهميته.
• التحذير من اللجوء إلى وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي لتشخيص الحالات، والتأكيد على أهمية استشارة الأطباء المختصين فقط.

اختُتمت الفعالية بتأكيد من كلية الطب – جامعة بغداد على التزامها الدائم بـ نشر الوعي الصحي الصحيح والمستند إلى الأدلة العلمية، والمضي قدماً في تقديم نموذج أكاديمي وإنساني يدعم صحة المرأة وكرامتها، ويحمي المجتمع من مخاطر يمكن تجنبها بالعلم، والفحص، والوعي.

Together Against Cancer: A Purple Campaign from Baghdad College of Medicine to Raise Awareness and Promote Prevention

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan Mani' Al-Alwani, Dean of the College of Medicine – University of Baghdad, and in collaboration with the Gynecologic Oncology Team at Baghdad Teaching Hospital, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology organized an extensive awareness initiative that included both a ceremony and a scientific symposium under the theme:

“Together We Protect Ourselves from Cancer”

This event was held in observance of Gynecologic Oncology Awareness Month, with the participation of faculty members, students, physicians, and those concerned with public health.

A Message in Purple: Launching a Sustainable Campaign

In his opening remarks, Dean Al-Alwani emphasized:

> “Today we begin with the color purple, the color of hope, strength, and courage. Our mission is both academic and humanitarian—supporting women’s mental and physical health. Awareness must not be a seasonal action, but rather a sustained approach and an institutional culture in which we must take the lead.”

He also announced the launch of the “Purple Ribbon Campaign” at the College of Medicine – University of Baghdad, designed to continue throughout the year through awareness posters and digital screens within the college, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and oncology centers, to promote early detection and prevention.

Furthermore, he called for the establishment of a specialized research unit on gynecologic oncology within the college to advance scientific knowledge, foster academic and clinical collaboration, and contribute to national health policy.

Key Symposium Highlights

Dr. Noufel Azzo discussed the social stigma associated with cancer, the importance of trust in healthcare systems, empathy and active listening among senior medical students, psychological support for patients, and the role of physicians as health advocates promoting vaccination and prevention.

Dr. Afraa Mahjoub, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, presented on cervical cancer, emphasizing early screening and vaccination, dispelling medical myths, and highlighting the role of academic clinics in raising awareness.

Dr. Ikhlas Jabbar concluded with a session on various types of gynecologic cancers, stressing effective and ethical communication with patients, vaccine promotion, and the dangers of relying on social media for diagnosis instead of consulting specialists.

Commitment to Awareness and Prevention

The event concluded with the College of Medicine – University of Baghdad reaffirming its commitment to sustained, evidence-based health awareness, while advancing its academic and humanitarian mission to safeguard women’s health, dignity, and the community at large through knowledge, screening, and prevention.

*اليوم العالمي للقلب... صوت العلم يرتفع من أروقة كلية الطب بالشراكة مع الجمعية العراقية.
*عندما يجتمع العلم مع المسؤولية... تولد مبادرات تحمي قلوب الأجيال، كلية الطب والجمعية العراقية لارتفاع ضغط الدم، نموذج للشراكة في خدمة الصحة العامة.

بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للقلب، نظمت كلية الطب، بالتعاون مع الجمعية العراقية لارتفاع ضغط الدم، ورشة عمل توعوية للتصدي لأمراض العصر، برعاية وحضور عميد كلية الطب بجامعة بغداد، الأستاذ الدكتور أمين عبد الحسن مانع العلواني. والتي تأتي انسجامًا مع شعار هذا العام "معًا من أجل قلبٍ سليم وحياةٍ أفضل".

وجمعت الورشة، التي أدارها نخبة من الأطباء الاختصاص، بين الخبرات الأكاديمية والسريرية، حيث ترأس الجلسات كل من عميد كلية الطب وتدريسي فرع الطب الباطني بكلية الطب جامعة بغداد: الأستاذ الدكتور حسن فرحان، رئيس المجلس العلمي لأمراض القلب، والأستاذ الدكتور غازي فرحان، رئيس الجمعية العراقية لارتفاع ضغط الدم.

وهدفت الورشة التي أقيمت بحضور جمع من الأطباء الاختصاص والأطباء من خريجي كلية الطب جامعة بغداد إلى تركيز الجهود على محاور وقائية أساسية للتصدي لأمراض القلب التي تُعد السبب الرئيسي للوفيات حول العالم، حيث سلط المشاركون الضوء على:

-نشر الوعي الصحي: حول عوامل الخطر الرئيسية المتمثلة بارتفاع ضغط الدم، وداء السكري، والتدخين، والسمنة.
-تعزيز نمط الحياة الصحي: عبر التشديد على دور التغذية السليمة والنشاط البدني المنتظم كحائط صد أمام الأمراض.

-التشخيص المبكر: والتأكيد على أن الفحوصات الدورية هي السبيل الأنجع لاكتشاف المشكلات الصحية في مراحلها الأولى.
-العمل بروح الفريق: وتشجيع التعاون بين الأطباء الاختصاص وطلبة الكلية لوضع خدمة المريض في المقام الأول.

وأكد المحاضرون والمشاركون على أن "الوقاية خير من العلاج"، وأن تبني ثقافة صحية مجتمعية يسهم بشكل مباشر في تقليل العبء الناجم عن الأمراض القلبية الوعائية، داعيين إلى تكثيف مثل هذه المبادرات التوعوية التي تخلق جيلًا واعيًا بصحته.

وتأتي هذه الورشة انعكاسًا للدور الريادي لكلية الطب جامعة بغداد وشراكتها الفاعلة مع المؤسسات الصحية المتخصصة مثل الجمعية العراقية لارتفاع ضغط الدم، في سبيل الرقي بالواقع الصحي في العراق وبناء مستقبل أفضل لقلوب أبنائه.

World Heart Day… The Voice of Science Resonates from the Halls of the College of Medicine in Partnership with the Iraqi Society

When science meets responsibility, initiatives are born to protect the hearts of future generations. The College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, and the Iraqi Hypertension Society present a model of partnership in the service of public health.

On the occasion of World Heart Day, the College of Medicine, in collaboration with the Iraqi Hypertension Society, organized an awareness workshop addressing modern cardiovascular challenges. The event was held under the patronage and in the presence of Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan Mani' Al-Alwany, Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, in alignment with this year’s theme: “Together for a Healthy Heart and a Better Life.”

The workshop, led by distinguished specialists, combined academic and clinical expertise. The sessions were chaired by the Dean alongside faculty from the Department of Internal Medicine: Professor Dr. Hassan Farhan, President of the Scientific Council of Cardiology, and Professor Dr. Ghazi Farhan, President of the Iraqi Hypertension Society.

The event, attended by specialists and alumni of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, aimed to concentrate efforts on essential preventive measures against cardiovascular disease—the leading cause of mortality worldwide. The participants emphasized:

Health Awareness: Raising knowledge on major risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, smoking, and obesity.

Promoting Healthy Lifestyles: Highlighting the importance of proper nutrition and regular physical activity as protective barriers.

Early Diagnosis: Stressing the value of periodic screening as the most effective approach to detect health issues in their early stages.

Team-Based Care: Encouraging collaboration between specialists and medical students, placing patient welfare at the forefront.

Speakers and participants reiterated that “prevention is better than cure,” underscoring that building a community-wide culture of health is key to reducing the burden of cardiovascular disease. They called for the expansion of such awareness initiatives to cultivate a health-conscious generation.

This workshop exemplifies the pioneering role of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, and its active partnership with specialized health institutions such as the Iraqi Hypertension Society, in advancing Iraq’s healthcare landscape and ensuring a healthier future for its people.

*مع انطلاق برنامج "تطوير الكادر التدريسي" (Staff Development)، بنسخته الجديدة للعام الدراسي 2025 – 2026،.. طب بغداد تستضيف ملاكات طبية مرموقة من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.

*زيارة الأستاذ الدكتور بهاء إبراهيم إنصاف رئيس الجامعة تأتي في أطار تقديم الدعم للأسرة الاكاديمية ومسيرتها الرائدة في المجالات الطبية.

*زيارة رئيس جامعة بغداد تتزامن مع استقبال الكلية لوفد أكاديمي أمريكي برئاسة الطبيب آيزن ماروغي الأكاديمي المتخصص والخبير في علم الأمراض.

*قدّم الدكتور ماروغي محاضرة مميزة وشاملة تناولت عدة جوانب علمية وثقافية وتاريخية، أبرزت دور الطبيب في المجتمع بوصفه معالجاً ومعلماً وعالماً ودبلوماسياً، وبما يعكس رسالة مهنة الطب في خدمة الإنسان.

*الوفد الزائر كان في استقبالهم الأستاذ الدكتور أمين عبد الحسن مانع العلواني، عميد الكلية. وفي كلمته الترحيبية، أعرب رئيس الجامعة عن دعمه الكامل لكلية الطب، مُشيداً بمكانتها العريقة ودورها الريادي في قيادة التعليم الطبي في العراق والمنطقة.

Pioneering Visit: Distinguished American Expert Opens New Horizons of Knowledge Exchange with the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad

University President’s Visit to the College of Medicine to Attend a Distinguished Lecture within the Academic Staff Development Program

With the launch of the new edition of the Staff Development Program for the academic year 2025–2026, the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, hosted eminent medical scholars from the United States of America.

The visit of Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Ensaf, President of the University of Baghdad, came as part of his continued support for the academic community and its pioneering role in the medical field.

This visit coincided with the reception of a U.S. academic delegation headed by Professor Aizen Marrogi, a renowned academic and expert in pathology.

Dr. Marrogi delivered a distinguished and comprehensive lecture that addressed various scientific, cultural, and historical dimensions, highlighting the physician’s role in society as a healer, teacher, scholar, and diplomat—reflecting the essence of medicine as a service to humanity.

The visiting delegation was received by Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan Mani' Al-Alwany, Dean of the College of Medicine. In his welcoming remarks, the University President expressed his full support for the College, commending its rich legacy and pioneering role in advancing medical education in Iraq and the region.

This visit and the accompanying lecture align with the strategic vision of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, which aims to remain the leading medical school in Iraq while sustaining its advanced academic standing regionally and globally. *جسور من المعرفة تربط الشرق بالغرب: وفد استرالي في رحاب كلية الطب.

في إطار تعزيز أواصر التعاون الأكاديمي، شهدت كلية الطب في جامعة بغداد زيارة سكرتير أول للسفارة الأسترالية لدى العراق السيد روين وايت، وذلك يوم الأربعاء الموافق 24 أيلول 2025.

حظي الوفد الزائر باستقبال رسمي من قبل السيد عميد كلية الطب الأستاذ الدكتور أمين عبد الحسن مانع العلواني.

جرت الزيارة بحضور السيدة مديرة قسم البعثات والعلاقات الثقافية في جامعة بغداد الأستاذة الدكتورة إيناس خليفة الشرقي.

تم خلال اللقاء بحث سبل تطوير مجالات التعاون والشراكة العلمية بين كلية الطب والجامعات والمؤسسات البحثية الأسترالية المرموقة.

هذا وقد أعرب سكرتير أول السفارة عن امتنانه للاستقبال والترحيب الذي وجده والمستوى الأكاديمي والبحثي المتميز للكلية.

*مع انطلاق العام الدراسي… مجلس كلية الطب يجدد التزامه بالتميز الأكاديمي ودعم الكفاءات.

🟠افتتاح الجلسة

عقد مجلس كلية الطب – جامعة بغداد جلسته الثانية مع بداية العام الدراسي الجديد، حيث استهلّ عميد الكلية الاستاذ الدكتور أمين عبد الحسن مانع العلواني وأعضاء المجلس أعمال الجلسة بكلمات شكر وعرفان لكل الجهود المبذولة في خدمة الطلبة والكلية.

🟠تكريم المتميزين

شهدت الجلسة استضافة الطالب محمد علاء، الأوّل على كلية الطب-جامعة بغداد الذي عبّر عن امتنانه لعمادة الكلية وأساتذتها على الدعم المتواصل الذي ساهم في تفوقه.
وفي هذا السياق، وجّه عميد الكلية وأعضاء المجلس كلمات تقدير واعتزاز إلى من وصفوهم بـ “الجنود الخفيّة” الذين يقفون وراء النجاحات المتحققة، مؤكدين أنّ مسيرة الكلية لا يمكن أن تستمر وتزدهر إلا بتكاتف جميع منتسبيها.
اهم المواضيع التي تمت مناقشتها:
🟠مناقشة المناهج والخطط البحثية.

ناقش المجلس خطة المناهج التدريسية وتفعيل دور فرع التعليم الطبي في تطوير العملية التعليمية، إلى جانب التأكيد على أهمية المقررات الدراسية ودعم الخطة البحثية للتدريسيين. وتم التشديد على أن يقدّم كل تدريسي بحثاً علمياً أصيلاً من إنتاجه، دون الاكتفاء بالاعتماد على بحوث الطلبة، في خطوة لدعم مكانة الكلية البحثية وتعزيز نتاجها العلمي.

🟠دعم الباحثين وخطط الدراسات العليا.

جدّد المجلس دعمه للباحثين وتشجيعهم على النشر العلمي الرصين، كما ناقش خطة القبول في الدراسات العليا للعام الدراسي 2026–2027 التي تقدّمت بها الفروع العلمية، بما يتماشى مع احتياجات الكلية والتوجهات الوطنية للتعليم العالي و أكد عميد كلية الطب – جامعة بغداد، الأستاذ الدكتور أمين عبد الحسن مانع العلواني، خلال الجلسة الثانية لمجلس الكلية، أن انطلاق العام الدراسي الجديد يمثّل محطة مهمة لتجديد الالتزام برسالة الكلية في التعليم والبحث العلمي وخدمة المجتمع،وشدّد على ضرورة دعم الطلبة المتفوقين وتوفير البيئة الملائمة لهم، إلى جانب تمكين التدريسيين والباحثين عبر خطط واضحة تضمن تطوير المناهج وتعزيز النتاج العلمي الرصين.

أولى المجلس اهتماماً خاصاً باستمرار حملة الإعمار وتطوير المختبرات، مؤكدين على ضرورة تهيئة بيئة دراسية حديثة ومتطورة لطلبة الكلية،وأشار عميد الكلية إلى العمل على تسليم البنايات والمرافق الجديدة بشكل كامل، بما يعكس التزام الكلية بتوفير أفضل السبل لتحقيق بيئة تعليمية وبحثية متكاملة مؤكداً أنّ حملة الإعمار وتحديث المختبرات تمثل أولوية متقدمة في عمل الكلية، ومعززاً المضي في استكمال المشاريع العمرانية وتسليم المباني والمرافق بشكل كامل. كما تم خلال الجلسة اتخاذ قرار بتشكيل لجنة برئاسة معاون العميد وعضوية مسؤولي القانونية ووحدة العقود لمتابعة متطلبات الطلبة في النادي الطلابي والمكتبة والساحات ضمن الضوابط والسياقات المعتمدة.

Opening of the Session
The Council of the College of Medicine – University of Baghdad held its second session at the outset of the new academic year, with Dean Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan Mani’ Al-Alwany and the council members opening the proceedings with words of gratitude and appreciation for the continuous efforts dedicated to serving the students and the College.

Honoring Excellence
The session featured the recognition of student Mohammed Alaa, the top graduate of the College of Medicine – University of Baghdad, who expressed his gratitude to the College leadership and faculty for their consistent support that contributed to his success.
In this context, the Dean and council members extended appreciation to what they described as the “hidden soldiers” behind the College’s achievements, emphasizing that the progress and prosperity of the institution can only continue through the unity and cooperation of all its members.

The council also resolved to form a committee, chaired by the Associate Dean and including the legal and contracts units, to follow up on student facility needs in the student club, library, and courtyards, in accordance with institutional standards and procedures.

*اجتماع أولي يرسم ملامح جديدة لمجلة كلية الطب بجامعة بغداد ويطلق خطة طموحة لتطويرها.

عقد الأستاذ الدكتور أمين عبد الحسن مانع العلواني، عميد كلية الطب – جامعة بغداد، الاجتماع الأول مع أعضاء هيئة مجلة الكلية، بحضور رئيس تحرير مجلة الكلية الاستاذ الدكتور فارس اللامي، واعضاء ومساعدي هيئة التحرير حيث ناقش المجتمعون سبل تطوير المجلة والارتقاء بمستواها العلمي بما يعزز حضورها الأكاديمي والبحثي.

تركزت محاور الاجتماع على عدة نقاط رئيسية، أبرزها:
🟠ضرورة أن تكون البحوث المنشورة متخصصة ومنسجمة مع اختصاصات كلية الطب.
🟠التشديد على أهمية الاستشهاد ببحوث عالمية رصينة وأن يكون ضمن المعايير والضوابط المعتمدة لتطوير المجلة وتعزيز مكانتها العلمية.
🟠الانفتاح على الباحثين والمؤلفين الأجانب لزيادة رصانة النشر.
🟠متابعة التزام التدريسيين المقيمين للبحوث بالمدة الزمنية المحددة خدمةً للباحثين وضمان سرعة إنجاز التقييم.

كما خلص الاجتماع إلى مجموعة من التوصيات المهمة، منها:
• متابعة تسجيل المجلة في المستوعبات العالمية ورفع مستوى انتشارها.
• مراقبة جودة البحوث وتفعيل آليات التدقيق العلمي.
• تفعيل دور ال "Section Editor "بما يعزز دقة النشر وانسيابية مراحله وبذلك يكون حلقة وصل أساسية تضمن الدقة العلمية، وضبط الجودة، وسرعة إنجاز النشر.

• الالتزام بالسياسات المستحدثة التي وضعتها الكلية في إدارة المجلة.
• اعتماد سياسة تحكيم عالية المستوى من حيث عدد البحوث ونوعيتها.

• تشجيع أساتذة الفروع السريرية وطلبة البورد والمراحل الأولية على إعداد ونشر بحوثهم.
• فتح باب الدعم والتعاون مادياً ومعنوياً لتعزيز مسيرة المجلة.

واختتم السيد العميد الاجتماع بالتأكيد على أن المجلة العلمية للكلية تمثل إحدى ركائز تميّزها، وأن عمادة الكلية تدعم هذا المشروع جنباً إلى جنب مع ملفات أخرى حيوية مثل التعليم الطبي والاعتمادية، لما لها من أثر مباشر في ترسيخ مكانة الكلية محلياً ودولياً

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Faris Al-Lami, Editor-in-Chief of the journal, along with associate editors and editorial staff. The attendees discussed comprehensive strategies to enhance the scientific quality of the journal and elevate its academic and research presence.

Activate the role of Section Editors to streamline editorial workflows, ensure scientific accuracy, and expedite the publication process.

Adhere to the newly established journal management policies set forth by the College of Medicine.

Adopt a high-level peer review policy with strict standards for both the quantity and quality of accepted articles.

Encourage clinical faculty members, postgraduate board students, and undergraduate students to submit and publish their research.

Facilitate financial and institutional support for the journal’s development and long-term sustainability.
