Something different and quick to make from

𝐂𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐓𝐎𝐀𝐒𝐓⁣ 🍞 ⁣- ⁣𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 👩🏻‍🍳 (Serves 1)⁣⁣
✔️ 100g yoghurt of choice⁣
✔️ 1 egg⁣
✔️ 1 squeeze of honey⁣
✔️ 1 splash of vanilla extract (approx ½ tsp)⁣
✔️ 2x slices of bread⁣
✔️ Fruit/ toppings of choice⁣ ⁣𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐃⁣ 🥣 ⁣⁣
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 180c and line a baking tray with baking parchment.⁣⁣
Or preheat non stick fraying pan
2️⃣ Add the yoghurt, eggs, honey and vanilla to a bowl and whisk to combine.
⁣⁣3️⃣ Place two slices of bread on a baking tray and then flatten down the middle using the back of a spoon.⁣⁣
4️⃣ Pour the filling onto the bread and then top with fruit/ other toppings of your choice.
⁣⁣5️⃣ Bake in the oven for approx. 20 minutes until the filling is set. Cook on non-stick frying pan for 30 min and cover with lid.
⁣⁣6️⃣ Remove from the oven, dust with a little icing sugar if you like and enjoy!⁣

This week's key message is to see a Dietitian. If you're not sure where to start, try asking your doctor for a referral to an RDN.

You can locate an RDN in your area using the google. Search by location and area of expertise to find an RDN who specializes in your unique needs and who can help you reach your personalized goals.

What goals might an RDN be able to help you achieve? Some include management of a chronic condition, navigating digestive concerns, identifying foods to eat or avoid due to a food allergy or sensitivity, caring for an aging parent and more.

We tend to complicate our nutrition and forget about most common and readily available superfoods.

𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐆𝐔𝐑𝐓

Regular yogurt tends to have fewer calories and more calcium but Greek yogurt has more protein and less sugar and a much thicker consistency. Both types pack probiotics and support digestion, weight loss, and heart health

How to make greek yogurt at home?
Just made regular yogurt and follow last extra step.
1. Heat milk in a pot on medium flame. Stir frequently to avoid a skin from forming over the milk.
2. Fill a larger pot with ice and water. Transfer the pot with hot milk to the pot with ice water. Let the milk cool until it is at 37-43°C.
3. Take 1/2 cup of warm milk in a separate big bowl and mix plain yogurt in it until well blended. Then, pour the rest of the milk and mix well.
4. Cover the bowl with a lid and wrap in a moist, warm cloth and place it in the oven. Keep it overnight or for 6 to 8 hours.
5. Now, strain the yogurt. Take a mesh sieve and line it with cheesecloth, and pour the yogurt in it. Place the sieve over a large bowl and let the yogurt strain in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. Later, store it in an airtight container.

Tips
Don’t throw away liquid from it. It contains whey protein and can be use in smoothies , making biscuits and pancakes even iced teas.
There are a few ways to create a very warm environment for making yogurt.
Oven method: Turn your oven on to 200° for about 5 minutes, then turn it off. Add the towel-wrapped container of yogurt and if you have an oven light, turn it on for added warmth.
Cooler method: Place a hot water bottle (or other small container) filled with very hot water alongside the towel-wrapped container in a small cooler.

You guys always ask me how i maintain weight. Let me introduce you .alizeh My issue always have been thay I cant stop eating but also worried about weight specially after eid ul azha but .alizeh actually helped me understand concept of diet.
Two rules only
Slow Eating
Portion control
its not about starving yourself but changing your portion size.
I do actually already feel better because of well balanced nutrition.
I can eat everything and not gain weight by keeping portion in my mind.
Do consult .alizeh for weight related advice or Diet plans.
