Samskara Retreat Center Iceland Yoga, meditation and healing centre Meals are prepared with care in any style you prefer — vegan, vegetarian, or local Icelandic.

Nestled in the geothermal heart of southern Iceland, Samskara is a cozy, spiritual sanctuary where the land itself feels alive. From the retreat you can gaze across steaming hot springs and a warm river that breathes calm into the air — a scene both meditative and inspiring. We welcome groups of up to 14 guests in comfortable double rooms (available for single or shared use) and offer optional dormitory accommodation for larger groups. Whether you come to guide a retreat, write, explore, or simply rest, Samskara is a space where stillness, nature, and creativity meet.

Samskara stöðin er staðsett í friðsælu og fallegu umhverfi í Laugarási, staður sem hentar fyrir margvíslega viðburði og samverur.

Sonja will be leading open yoga classes in December, suitable for both beginners and more advanced participants.

The price for the class is 2,500 ISK.
We are located at Varmagerði - Laugarás.

Access to the studio is from the large parking lot by the road.
