I have failed to post and talk about the most magical part of our Italy trip!!! and Phillip wined and dine and completely spoiled us in Northern Italy in Bolzano. I was on the verge of tears when we arrived at their beautiful home - a dear friend I have not seen since YTT 10 YEARS AGO 🤯. I jumped out of the car and we hugged for minimum a full minute. So many more beautiful photos to share but at least this is a start!

Boat day! As we walked to the boat, we saw San Marco Square for the first time - mind blown. The artistry, history and grandeur of these buildings were mind blowing. We could not wait for the next day to explore Doge’s Palace.

Murano - blown glass, beautiful little town we wish we could explore longer. Burano - known for the colorful house was so entertaining and made it fun to explore. A long day touring the islands but well worth it.

We got SO LOST looking for our apartment after getting off the waterbus. Until you learn the alley and street system there - oof! We made it, change, relaxed then headed out to dinner and a beautiful sunset gondola ride!

Passing under the Rialto bridge, through small canals, ancient bridges - and seeing one of Casa Novas places he lived - a great beginning to an amazing Venice experience.

This has been a dream trio since I was a little girl it feels like. I still can’t believe I’m here. I pieced together our travel to get the best deals - probably the last time I’ll do that 🙃.

Our first leg - red eye to Boston - there was a young baby who screamed and cried the whole way. Kids slept - mama… not so much 😴. We got upgraded on our Scandinavian Flight… it was MONEY 💵.

We barely made our connection in Copenhagen but our bags did not. So… we waited 4 hours in Milan for them to arrive on the next flight in. It felt like a decade. Kids were tired but they were champs. They pretty much slept the whole flight to Copenhagen.

We got our rental and off to Monterosso!!! It was a wonderful, beautiful drive - so mantra tunnels cutting through the hillsides. As we approach Cinque Terre the address was entered correctly, however, the town was not entered at all. Maps took us to the town just north of Monterosso. Would not have been a big deal if we hadn’t been traveling for 36 hours at this point.

Ill spare the words shared 😂. We arrived- finally! Quickly unloaded the car and off to dinner! Bolognese, pizza, mussels chianti and beers! Happy kids, happy mom & dad.

Now Im here, on our balcony watching the morning bustle. With cappuccino and croissants in hand. Caio!

I had little welcome gifts on everyones bed - so when I woke up to this scene in the kitchen the next morning - for Ocean day - that’s all I needed. The best sports 😅

Get ready for LOTS of photos. I feel like the pictures will do the talking for me because honestly… there are no words, to describe the past week and a half.
•••
Friends who were already my family - became even a bigger part of my heart. The ones who make it happen FOR YOU, no matter what. This year started out as one of the worst years of my life - with some of the biggest heartbreaks and this group you see in the photos - turned it into the best week of my life.

First miracle, everyone flew and everyone made it to Maine! 😅😅😅. Literally the second we got there - bodies were in the lake after all the introductions. Followed by a traditional evening boat cruise around the lake.

Day 1 - we all headed to Ogunquit - to the Ocean! Of course we had to have theme - lobstahs… 🦞. Forecast rain - turned out pretty beautiful, partly cloudy and… lobsters were out! Our favorite little cove where it’s quiet and private… or was 😉 .

November and its full on holiday market life! Was humbled in Carlsbad, CA at my first out of State market but great sunsets and relaxing time after. Liv started up “livs lavender” so fun to do with her. Excited to continue building that with her. We did Jenibee holiday market together and Christkindle. Wyatt began “Wyatts wagging tail treats”. These guys are hard workers!

Life… in the fall. Playing with our new pup, “Sonny”. Every day, life. The best.
