Stone King Day 3: The Best Day We’ve Ever Had on Our Bikes?!

Going into Day 3 of the Stone King Rally, we honestly didn’t know what to expect. After how hard Day 2 had been, waking up to fog, cold temperatures, and a massive day on the bikes didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Legs were tired, minds were still processing what we’d already been through, and the mountains ahead looked serious. And yet… somehow… Day 3 turned into…...

Stone King Rally Day 2: 33 Miles, Flats, and 14,000 Feet of Descending

Stone King Rally Day 2 was the definition of “type 2 fun.” We woke up tired, a little beat up, and fully aware we still had five more days of riding ahead… and then proceeded to ride, push, carry, slide around on off-camber grass, and descend some of the most intense trails of the entire Stone King Rally. Today had everything: a sketchy hike-a-bike through a cow pasture, exposure, hero-turn practice, “why is my tire flat AGAIN?”, a GoPro battery death at the worst time, and one of those days where you’re completely smashed… but still can’t stop saying “this is amazing.”...

Stone King Rally Day 2 was pure chaos: 33 miles, 4,075 ft of climbing, 13,850 ft of descending, sketchy hike-a-bikes, and nonstop flat tire...
