Lianne McLean is the director of the Point-of-Care Ultrasound program at the Division of Emergency Medicine at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. She's an Assistant Professor in Paediatrics at the University of Toronto and has research interests in AI and POCUS, as well as technology integration and digital health equity. The POCUS program at SickKids has been established since 2011, training paediatric POCUS enthusiasts from around the world for ten years.
Magali Gauthey, MD, is a Paediatric Emergency Physician based in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Gauthey is the Co-head of the Pediatric Department, Hôpital de la Tour, Meyrin, Geneva Switzerland and Staff, Pediatric Emergency Department, Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, Switzerland After completing her training in Paediatrics in Geneva, she crossed the Atlantic to complete a 3 years fellowship in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and Point-of-Care Ultrasound at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada. She divides her work between the Hôpital de la Tour as co-head of the Paediatric Department, and the University Hospital as a staff in the Paediatric Emergency Department. Dr. Gauthey is one of the few Swiss Paediatric POCUS instructors and is involved in the implementation and development of POCUS locally and internationally.
Ron Berant is the Director of the Pediatric Emergency Department at Schneider children's medical center of Israel. He completed a Point-of-Care Ultrasound fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada. He is currently the past-chair of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Point-of-Care Ultrasound (P2) Network, a growing community of physicians committed to spreading the clinical application of point-of-care ultrasound to pediatric emergency departments around the world. Dr. Berant directs ultrasound training events nationally and internationally and is involved in research in point-of-care ultrasound through the EUSEP.
