Heartbreaks often shape our lives, as the ‘You don’t love me’ story is projected onto those around us, bringing pain and hard-to-shift emotions.”
I often mention the importance of connecting to our Deep Self, the Presence of Love within.
However, it is also vital to acknowledge our Personality Self.
If we do not heal our wounds at the personality level, we remain painfully disconnected from our spiritual essence of love.
From my own experience, I have found that the key is Awareness.
Let me tell you a story.
My father was deeply committed to his career as a surgeon. Although his love for me was pure, deep down I felt abandoned and unloved by him.
Furthermore, I missed out on ‘father’ guidance in developing qualities such as independence, leadership, and confidence.
My way of coping has been to seek love and approval outside of myself, in relationships and work.
When validation didn’t arrive, I felt heartbroken and unworthy, projecting the message ‘You don’t love me’ outwardly.
Freedom came when I began to nurture myself, reclaiming my power to lead my life with courage, and sourcing love and guidance from within.
With all blessings of Healing and Love, Ursula
