Guide my Practice Don't forget to dance and shake your butt! Smile without a reason why. Remember about the earth: you are part of this place, not a visitor.

Stay healthy, your body will thank you when you will get to your 50s: eat loads of raw foods. Yoga & Vipassana meditation can both help us experiencing the law of nature: the impermanence of life. Physical and mental hygiene are heavily involved in my teaching practices as I believe they all intertwined.

Nicest day of July with cooler temperatures, rough sea and no one on the beach!!

One year ago, I was training by the sea and Ocean was still far from us!

Today after one year, back on my training and Ocean is almost 3 months old.

I can’t believe it is actually possible to go through a pregnancy and get back on your path in a years time!

I celebrate life with its hot and cold temperatures, with its ups and downs and with the strength that belongs to every woman and I thank my mom ( and my dad - and aunties) for all the help I have received since I got here for our summer holidays!

I am going strong with my raw diet but I feel I may have exaggerated today…can’t get the staff in the fridge.. more is still in a bag behind the fridge!

Oh course I am not doing any “diet” to lose weight but just to get through a huge detox! Aiming for a month but I start with 2 weeks and one is already gone!

Secret for a good raw diet is to eat a lot so you won’t lose energy!

It’s been more than 2 years that every morning (unless traveling) I get my glass of orange juice.

AND I FEEL AWESOME!

My parents have been doing the same.

My daughter has had it for a while now!
Unless you have your own milk and I would recommend carry on only with this as long as you can, then there is no reason not giving your child the amazing benefits of an orange juice( certainly you can start adding it to his/her diet when introducing foods).

Few words about this:

ORANGE JUICE is in fact one of the most delicious and attractive foods that can be fed to babies. It contains pre-digested food that is ready for absorption and utilisation when taken.
The sweeter the orange, the more refreshing it is.

They are rich in lime and other alkaline salts and prevent or overcome acidosis.

The regular eating of orange juice results in the retention of calcium and phosphorous in the body, and in the assimilation of nitrogen (protein), out of all proportion to the amounts of these elements contained in the juice. The juice actually enables the body to utilise the elements better than it could otherwise do.

Never give canned or cooked fruit juices to infants and children. Never add sugar, oil or other substance to them.

The orange juice feeding should be given three to four hours after the milk feeding and one hour before next milk feeding.

CHANGE.

It was exactly a year ago when this picture was taken and my body now is witnessing several changes.

Despite the happiness of a woman being pregnant, seeing the body changing with its ups and downs can bring discomfort and all sorts of other feelings and emotions.

There is nothing to hide about being uncomfortable with these changes and wondering how fast you will get back on that awesome practice you had at the beginning of the year.. monkey mind.

Someone may not agree by stating that I should just be grateful and that’s it. I don’t agree with that as you can miss the life you had before and can have feeling of overwhelm, stress and exhaustion.

As long as it gets acknowledged, it’s fine!

I believe though as a yoga practitioner and teacher, it is important to work on it and, besides some gentle movement, breathing and meditation ( which has been a roller coaster) I found affirmations being of great help.

I would like to share few good ones that have helped me until now :

“I accept and welcome the changes in my body that each stage of pregnancy brings.”

“ I send healing energy and light to the places where I feel discomfort “.

Change is a constant so everything is meant to ease and pass and that’s the beauty of life!

I couldn’t say it better. 🙏🏻❤️

“Your lungs are developing steadily. Mine, however, become a little more squashed as my body makes room for you to grow. I am noticing how easily I become breathless now when doing everyday activities.
Regular gentle exercise is supporting my body and spirit though, and helps to keep my circulatory system fit and healthy.
As we enter the third trimester I find myself thinking more about your birth-day.
I am considering all the various options available to me: home birth, natural birth, the local hospital.
I want your birth-day to be a beautiful occasion for us both.”
