Joined the creative connections challenge presented by hosts and

Had an illustration I made as an editorial piece for an article about city planning (from ancient times to present) that I’m still very happy about BUT wanted to make it come to live.

First I played around with the image in to place the illustration on an ancient pergamine. Then I placed it in several ancient scenery’s. Got stuck with the woman statue and the reimagined her holding the illustration through the pass of time.

This is the resulting video. Had so much fun with this!

Got inspired of several images of her House Museum in Chawton, New Hampshire, where I imagine her reading the classics 📖 and writing ✍🏻 some of her well-known novels.

Got inspired of several images of her home in Mexico City called The Blue House. Would love to visit this spot to fully comprehend her life through her belongings and art collections 💙

Got inspired by several images of her Stockholm apartment where she wrote many of her best-sellers like Pippi Longstocking and Ronja the Robber’s Daughter.

The Amazing 80’s

With the chosen 5 objects I commemorate some of my favorite things from my ‘80s childhood, from having secretly long phone calls ☎️ with friends to patiently recording favorite songs from the radio 📻 on a cassette tape.

So excited to announce my first editorial illustration published today in the Catalan Magazine .cat (1st October issue). The visual was created to condense and bring attention to the article Imagining digital degrowth in a context of ecological emergency by Anna Mundet Molas.

The article treats different forms of ecological resistance to the machine learning processes, applied foremost to image and video generation.

My artwork visualizes a multiple image series, with images connected to the article content; the last image being sustained by a high-tech robot’s hand – representing the machine learning behind it all.

Couldn’t resist to participate in the design challenge proposed by

The brief: Fun plush toy 🧸 for adults, evoking comfort and happiness ♥️

Since I adore 🐹 Guinea pigs (I’ve got one myself), the choice was quite easy.

The overall branding should use warm tones and recycled materials for the accessories and packaging, suggested a knitted basket 🧺 as a packaging option (also great for transporting the toy).

The main logo includes an illustrated guinea pig that can be used also separately (as an icon / patterns). The warm branding colors include the ginger 🫚 red and chocolate 🍫 brown color tones.
