Can your Spotify Wrapped help you choose your baby name?

Yes!

In fact, I’m convinced that our most loved artists & songs hold the keys to finding the perfect baby name.

My top songs this year share themes of ethereal beauty, spiritual devotion, nostalgia, joy, and renewal…
and those same energies show up in every girl name, boy name, and unisex baby name I fall in love with.

And more specifically, this year I have become a bit of a Lord of the Rings nerd 🤓

Over the summer, I went to a performance at to see them perform along with The Two Towers. It was absolutely glorious to hear this song, Evenstar, live!

I find myself gravitating toward the intersection of mythical, Celtic-Norse-Anglo-Saxon-inspired names, and off-the-beaten-path Catholic names.

It becomes so obvious when you look at my Top Songs!

Do you remember your first holiday season with your future spouse?

“How do we find a name we both love?”

Name disagreements, conflicts, and disputes can sadly be a common source of angst during pregnancy…

Couples often have different name styles, different emotional attachments, different cultural references, different levels of risk tolerance.

They need help mediating taste, ethnic background, and cultural references to find common ground in the process of baby naming.

An easy way to start finding common ground is to play around with the aesthetic, structural, and phonetic elements of your favorite names.

For example:

Let’s say… You love Cordelia and Octavia.
Your husband likes Brooke & Quinn.

•Combine: Cordelia Brooke & Octavia Quinn

•Shorten: Cory/ Cora, Tavi, Via

•Elongate: Brooklyn, Quincy

•Consider: Clara, Scarlett, Camila
