Brandywine by Monarch Communities extends warm wishes for a meaningful Passover. This Passover, we were honored to gather with residents, families, and team members across our communities to share in meaningful traditions from beautifully set Seder tables to storytelling, music, and symbolic foods that brought reflection and connection. May this special time bring peace, goodness, and renewal to all who are celebrating.

Chag Sameach from all of us at Brandywine by Monarch Communities! 🕊️💙

Today at Brandywine Princeton by Monarch, we hosted a meaningful Model Seder led by Stuart Liss, offering residents a beautiful blend of tradition, education, and community. Guests enjoyed a thoughtfully prepared meal featuring classic Passover dishes such as gefilte fish, matzo ball soup, chicken, baked potato, vegetables, and traditional desserts, along with the four symbolic cups represented by Kedem grape juice.

Passover honors the journey to freedom of the Israelites from Egypt and emphasizes themes of resilience, remembrance, and hope. The Seder serves as a powerful, interactive tradition that connects individuals across generations through storytelling, symbolism, and shared experience.

Experiences like these highlight the importance of cultural enrichment and meaningful engagement in senior living.

As we conclude Women's History Month, we’re proud to share a powerful message from one of our women leaders, our President, Edie:

“You’re born an original—don’t die a copy. Success with purpose, authenticity, and passion isn’t a destination you arrive at someday; it’s a daily choice to align your actions with your truth. Don’t trade your authenticity for approval, and don’t let the expectations and opinions of others define your path. Your life is yours to author, and that begins now.”
—President Edie Empirio

Thank you to all the women in leadership who inspire us every day!

Our Chair Tap Classes are one of the most highly anticipated exercise programs we offer and it’s easy to see why!

Led by our talented instructor, Christine, who teaches at Temple University, these sessions bring energy, rhythm, and joy to our community. From time to time, she brings along one of her students, giving our residents an extra special experience.

This week, we had the pleasure of watching Ethan showcase his incredible tap skills. His moves truly impressed everyone in the room and added an exciting spark to the class!

Lucky to Have You 🍀

No helium? No problem!
When we realized we had run out of helium before our 50s, 60s, and 70s dance party on Saturday, Mary stepped right in and worked her magic. In just about 20 minutes, she created these incredible balloon towers that helped set the perfect festive atmosphere.

Mary and I have had the pleasure of working together for 19 years, and I truly feel lucky to have an assistant who is my right hand. Her creativity, dedication, and teamwork help us deliver engaging and meaningful programming for our residents every day here at Brandywine Princeton by Monarch.
Thank you, Mary, for always going above and beyond for our community!

Weekends continue to be something truly special here at Brandywine Princeton by Monarch đź’™

Through our Perfect Pair Program with Princeton University, meaningful connections are formed as students are thoughtfully paired with residents who share similar interests. These moments go far beyond conversation—they build friendships, spark joy, and create lasting memories across generations.

This week, Daniel spent time with Eva diving into their shared love of history, while one of Princeton’s talented music students joined Bob—better known as “Banjo Bob”—who brings so much energy to our Wednesday sing-alongs. Watching their bond grow through music was nothing short of heartwarming.

Programs like Perfect Pair remind us that connection has no age limit. When generations come together, they inspire one another, learn from one another, and create something truly beautiful.

Today, our residents at Brandywine Princeton by Monarch enjoyed a truly exceptional dining experience at Ristorante Lucca and Plano Lounge Bordentown and what an experience it was!

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. We were warmly greeted at the door, our coats were graciously taken, and even before the meal began, we were treated to hot towels to refresh our hands a thoughtful touch that set the tone for what was to come.

The service was impeccable, with three attentive servers ensuring every detail was perfect. The restaurant’s ambiance added to the experience, with tasteful Italian background music creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, and stunning ornate pictures and décor that truly transported us.

And the food simply incredible. From the rich, comforting tomato soup to the fresh walnut, apple, and pear salad, to the perfectly prepared bolognese and classic spaghetti alla carbonara every dish was absolutely delicious.

Ristorante Luca truly offers some of the best Italian cuisine in the area. This is a dining destination we will absolutely be returning to!

We had an amazing St. Patrick’s Day celebration here at Brandywine Princeton by Monarch!

Maggie Smith Griffin had everyone singing along to their favorite St. Patrick’s Day tunes, and we were so lucky to welcome the third grade class from St. Augustine School, who made beautiful St. Patrick’s Day keychains for our residents such a special intergenerational moment!

And what’s St. Patrick’s Day without a little magic? A leprechaun even stopped by thank you to Pam Jorgensen for bringing so much fun and spirit to the day!

We also enjoyed delicious treats from Manville Pastry Shop, including festive cupcakes, cookies, and traditional Irish soda bread. A perfect celebration filled with joy, music, and community!
