What better way to wrap up a busy, life enriching week than with a lively polka party at Brandywine Princeton by Monarch!

Our residents had an incredible time as the Swedish Meatballs three-piece band brought the energy and spirit of polka to life they truly did not disappoint! The room was filled with music, laughter, and dancing, with residents even donning festive hats provided by the band, adding an extra touch of fun to the celebration.

To complete the experience, we enjoyed a delicious spread of authentic cabbage and noodles alongside kielbasa, perfectly tying into our Polish-themed afternoon. A joyful ending to a wonderful week of connection, culture, and community!

Brandywine Princeton by Monarch residents got a special treat today—the circus came to town!

We were thrilled to welcome the incredible Trenton Circus Squad, where talented youth ages 12 to 18 amazed our residents with balancing acts, juggling, unicycling, and so much more. Their energy, skill, and confidence truly lit up the room and brought smiles to everyone in attendance.

The Trenton Circus Squad is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people through the art of circus performance. Through free programs, they help students build confidence, teamwork, and resilience—while sharing their talents with communities like ours.

Brandywine Princeton by Monarch looks forward to our annual trip to Holland Farms each year and it never disappoints! Our Reflections and Assisted Living residents loved this outing !

Did you know there are over 8 million tulips in bloom? Our residents were truly amazed and in awe of the breathtaking beauty surrounding them. From vibrant fields of color to countless photo opportunities, every moment felt special.

The team at Holland Farms goes above and beyond to make our visit seamless and enjoyable greeting us with their “gators” to transport us comfortably to the fields, where we can stroll, pick tulips, pose for photos, and simply take in the fresh air, sunshine, and natural beauty.

A perfect day filled with joy, connection, and unforgettable memories.

Happy Earth Day from Brandywine Princeton by Monarch!

Today we celebrated with a special visit from the kindergarten class of St. Augustine of Canterbury School. After a short and engaging Earth Day lesson, our Reflections residents , Assisted Living residents and the children worked side by side to create and embellish adorable teacup planters, each planting a beautiful flower to take home and share with their families.

It was a wonderful example of teamwork across generations, filled with smiles, creativity, and connection. To end the visit, everyone enjoyed some relaxing Earth Day-themed coloring together—flowers, nature, and lots of joy all around.

love our intergenerational programs here at Brandywine Princeton by Monarch, and this month has truly been filled with beautiful moments of generations coming together.

Pictured here are kindergartners from St. Augustine of Canterbury School in Kendall Park, who visited our community today in celebration of Earth Day. The morning began with a simple and engaging lesson about caring for our planet, followed by a hands-on planting experience.

With the guidance and support of our residents, the children decorated teacups and saucers, filled them with soil, and planted flowers. They were so proud of their creations, and our residents absolutely loved helping them bring their projects to life.

Afterward, everyone gathered together for some coloring fun, with residents assisting the children in completing flower and Earth Day-themed pages—another special moment of connection, creativity, and shared joy.

We had the sweetest visit this morning at Brandywine Princeton by Monarch with Lambs of Love from Anna’s World of Minis 🐑💕

From our incredible staff to our Assisted Living residents and our Reflections Memory Care residents, the entire community was filled with warmth, smiles, and pure joy. There’s truly nothing like the comfort and connection that comes from these special moments—our building was overflowing with lamb love!

It was an intergenerational day at Brandywine Princeton by Monarch with an afternoon visit from the South Brunswick High School WISH Club. Students broke into small groups and partnered with our Reflections Memory Care residents for a wonderful hands-on craft experience. Together, they created beautifully painted wind chimes, thoughtfully decorated with care and of course, our community cat, Mr. Biggles, was curious and jumped up on the table to see what was going on. The group then stepped outdoors to hang and admire their creations.

On our assisted living side, students and residents played a fun prize wheel game, then worked together to paint mugs and saucers, preparing them for a special Earth Day project. These pieces will be used during an upcoming Arbor Day planting experience with the St. Augustine of Canterbury kindergarten class on the 22nd, bringing yet another generation into this meaningful collaboration. The kindergarteners will then embellish the mugs and plant flowers in them, creating a beautiful full-circle experience across generations.
Moments like these truly showcase the power of connection, creativity, and community across generations.

What a truly magical evening filled with joy, connection, and unforgettable moments. From the lively dancing to the incredible sounds of the Hun Jazz Band, the energy in the room was simply amazing.

Our residents and students came together beautifully everyone dressed to the nines, creating such an elegant and heartwarming atmosphere. The delicious food, stunning décor, and meaningful interactions made this a night to remember.

We are already counting down the days until next year’s prom!

What a magical evening at our Enchanted Forest Intergenerational Prom at Brandywine Princeton by Monarch

From the moment the night began, the energy was electric. The Hun School of Princeton Jazz Band set the perfect tone with an incredible hour-long set, filling the room with music that had everyone smiling, tapping, and ready to dance.

We were honored to welcome over 40 students who truly made the night unforgettable. From graciously serving meals to engaging in meaningful one-on-one conversations, and getting our residents out on the dance floor, their kindness and enthusiasm brought this event to life.

The evening was made even more special with an incredible meal catered by local Princeton restaurants, thoughtfully supported by the Hun School faculty a true community collaboration that elevated the entire experience.

Our residents were absolutely radiant dressed in their finest, proudly wearing the beautiful handmade wristlet corsages we created together in anticipation of this special night. The excitement leading up to prom was felt for weeks, and seeing it all come together was nothing short of magical.

It was a night filled with joy, connection, and memories that will last a lifetime. We are already counting down to next year’s prom!
