We are the Association of Latino Professionals For America's New Jersey chapter.

ALPFA creates opportunities, builds relationships for its members, the community and its business partners while expanding Latino leadership in the global workforce. ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals For America) was the first national Latino professional association in the United States, established in Los Angeles in 1972. Throughout our 43-year history we have experienced steady growth and demonstrated consistent value. ALPFA continues to build upon its proud legacy with a mission:

To empower and develop Latino men and women as leaders of character for the nation, in every sector of the global economy. ALPFA currently serves more than 72,000 professional and student members across the country – a number we plan to grow aggressively to 100,000 within the next two years. In addition to networking and professional leadership development opportunities, our members have access to 50,000 paid summer internships through hundreds of Fortune 1000 corporate partners. We aspire to be the business partner of choice for companies seeking to hire and develop Latino talent. We also promote a culture of philanthropy throughout the Latino community, encouraging our members to volunteer with, and engage on behalf of, local charities. We actively seek hands-on leadership building experiences for our members and to engage that considerable talent to make a measurable impact for national charitable organizations.

ALPFAMILIA! We are so proud to announce a special collaboration for our Q4 Mixer!
In light of the ongoing government shutdown, ALPFA NJ has decided to host a food drive in collaboration with Focus Hispanic Center for Community Development in hopes to directly provide aid during this season of giving back.

Since 1967, FOCUS has remained dedicated to provide community leadership by developing health and human development initiatives. In theme of A Night of Gratitude, we aim to strengthen our communities and give back, as we accept all non perishable food items at check in.
As our LAST Social Mixer, we invite you to join us as we continue to create spaces for true community engagement. Our board has come a long way since the beginning of the year, and we’re sure you have too! Let’s commemorate all our efforts in the only way we know how: with our ALPFAmilia. 🌟
