Winter Solstice Radiance ❄️✨
Some of the people who came today shared that this event was their Christmas present to themselves. That felt really touching to hear.

We truly hope it gave a sense of self-pampering and care, even in small ways.
We gathered to mark the Winter Solstice and to sit with the darkness it brings. We spoke about it as a kind of cocoon, or a womb for new beginnings. A time to look back on the year we’ve lived, to notice what feels complete, and to gently question the rituals and habits we carry. Not with judgment, just with curiosity. Which ones still support us, and which ones we hold onto simply because they feel hard to change or let go of.

We took time to reflect in a meditative state before moving into face yoga and gentle grounding longer-held postures. Everything was slow and unhurried. The intention was not to achieve anything, but to relax, release, and allow the body to soften.

There was also a quiet reminder that stillness, yin, and slowness do not always feel appealing to a busy, over-stimulated mind. They can even feel unnecessary. And yet, they often bring exactly what we need. Ayurveda says that similar attracts, but the opposite heals. What supports us most is not always the obvious thing.

By the end, the room felt calm and peaceful. Everyone was quieter, more inward, more settled. There was a shared sense of ease and presence that stayed with us.

Thank you to everyone who came and shared the space. We hope this feeling carries you gently into the days ahead ❤️

This post is brought to you by fresh hair and a sudden sense of authority 😎 I could never understand women who post their fresh hair or fresh nails 👸Isn’t it… obvious? Fresh hair = aligned chakras. Fresh nails = healed nervous system.

Suddenly I’m grounded and absolutely unavailable for nonsense ⛔️
I inhale confidence.
I exhale other people’s expectations.
My crown chakra is moisturised. My aura is full of sparkles ✨🧚‍♀️
I don’t walk - I flow…
I don’t react … I breathe first 😬🤫
My patience is in child’s pose: just resting…

Feeling the CEO of life 👸
Boundaries - enforced! Christmas presents - they can absolutely wait (unless it’s the one for myself 🎁).

People don’t talk to you, they witness you. (Except for the lady at the Coop till who just told me to move along because I was blocking the queue - the cheek! 🙄)

So yes, this fresh hair is definitely NOT for attention 🤥 It’s for historical records. Filed under: the CEO of Life. (To be reviewed post-Christmas, pre-spring, once we emerge hydrated, hopeful, and still fabulous 🤫😈🧚‍♀️)

🙏👸❤️

Behind the scenes of Winter Solstice Radiance Workshop 🧘‍♀️
A little peek into how the magic is made… long WhatsApp messages and voice notes, deep chats over teas and coffees, swapping ideas, testing everything on ourselves (and yes, our cats were around — no cats were harmed in the process).

Today’s final touch was sneaking into Maryia’s beauty salon during lunch hour to bring it all together - practising, refining, feeling it, making sure every detail flows.

This Saturday we welcome you into a cocoon of nurturing yin yoga + face rejuvenation, woven with Winter Solstice reflections - a moment to honour the season just lived, let go, and gently prepare for the transition into lighter days.

That’s our invitation to a holistic glow-up to soften, restore, and radiate as we cross the Solstice threshold and step into a new cycle ❤️

Over-discipline. Most people wonder if it’s real.
I’m here as living proof that yes — this human species exists 🦖😅

Some people battle with accountability, but my upbringing was… let’s call it “military chic.” At university, one of our teachers famously declared: “The only acceptable reason for non-attendance is death.” Mantra accepted 🕉️🙃

So off I went into adult life, trained to show up no matter what. Sick? Go. Tired? Go. Emotional? Go HARDER. It seeped into everything - work, training, yoga, studies, you name it.

But this time, when I went away, zoomed out and cleared my mind, I finally saw the pattern: sometimes it wasn’t dedication, it was overcommitment, machine-level routines, and discipline that forgot I was human.

Discipline can shift from healthy to harmful.
So I’m now learning that…
✔ Discipline does NOT have to equal pain.
✔ Strength does NOT require self-sacrifice.
✔ The 80/20 rule is a vibe - let yourself have some slack and fun.

So here I am again on a sweaty Thursday - excited and slightly terrified of strength training after a few weeks of slack but smiling and showing up with so much more compassion. Still disciplined, just… not self-destructive.
(And shhh 🤫 I did 8 reps instead of 10 in one round. Personal growth, baby)

🙏 🙏
