Winter Solstice Radiance ❄️✨
Some of the people who came today shared that this event was their Christmas present to themselves. That felt really touching to hear.
We truly hope it gave a sense of self-pampering and care, even in small ways.
We gathered to mark the Winter Solstice and to sit with the darkness it brings. We spoke about it as a kind of cocoon, or a womb for new beginnings. A time to look back on the year we’ve lived, to notice what feels complete, and to gently question the rituals and habits we carry. Not with judgment, just with curiosity. Which ones still support us, and which ones we hold onto simply because they feel hard to change or let go of.
We took time to reflect in a meditative state before moving into face yoga and gentle grounding longer-held postures. Everything was slow and unhurried. The intention was not to achieve anything, but to relax, release, and allow the body to soften.
There was also a quiet reminder that stillness, yin, and slowness do not always feel appealing to a busy, over-stimulated mind. They can even feel unnecessary. And yet, they often bring exactly what we need. Ayurveda says that similar attracts, but the opposite heals. What supports us most is not always the obvious thing.
By the end, the room felt calm and peaceful. Everyone was quieter, more inward, more settled. There was a shared sense of ease and presence that stayed with us.
Thank you to everyone who came and shared the space. We hope this feeling carries you gently into the days ahead ❤️
