2026年4月11日にAsia Pacific Advanced Arthroscopy Summit (Penan, Malaysia)で高尾昌人医師がアジアの医師向けにデモンストレーションを行われました✨
多くの先生方が技術を学び、熱心なディスカッションが行われた有意義な時間となり、高尾医師も今後更なる医療の発展へ帰国してすぐに次の目標へ進まれています😊
また以前に当院に研修にいらした先生方ともお会いになり、交流を深められていらしたそうです✨
これからも私たちは患者を中心とした医療の質や発展に全力で取り組んでいきたいと思います🍀*゜

On April 11, 2026, Dr. Masato Takao conducted a demonstration for physicians from across Asia at the Asia Pacific Advanced Arthroscopy Summit (Penang, Malaysia) ✨
It was a meaningful event where many doctors learned new techniques and engaged in enthusiastic discussions. Upon returning home, Dr. Takao immediately set his sights on his next goal to further advance medical care 😊
He also reportedly met with doctors who had previously come to our hospital for training, further deepening their connections ✨
We remain fully committed to improving the quality and advancement of patient-centered care 🍀*゜

マレーシアからいらしてたDr.Su Yuenが2ヶ月の足の外科研修を終えられました✨
とても気さくで、熱心な医師で私たちにも多くの学びの機会となりました。
これからも海外医師との交流や研修を通して、世界を見据えた医療の質と提供に取り組んでいきます🍀*゜

Dr. Su Yuen, who joined us from Malaysia, has completed her two-month orthopedic surgery rotation ✨
She is a very approachable and dedicated physician, and her time with us provided us with many valuable learning opportunities.

【タイ古式マッサージ】

本日、｢タイ古式マッサージ｣の実技を行いました✨
今回2度目の体験会！
実際にペアになってやってみました！
難しいところもありますが、でもやはり色々考えて工夫したりするのは楽しい✨
これからのリハビリの中にも要素を入れつつ、これからも成長を重ねていきたいと思います！

Today we practiced "Thai Traditional Massage" techniques!✨
This was our second hands-on session!
We actually paired up and tried it together!
Some parts are challenging, but it's still fun to think through and figure things out!✨
We plan to incorporate elements into future rehabilitation sessions and continue growing together!

本日、タイ古式マッサージの講義を開催していただきました。
院長先生とは学生時代からの同級生である岡田先生✨
通称｢のじ先生｣
まずはタイ古式マッサージの歴史のお話をいただき、その後は百聞は一見にしかずということで、実際にデモンストレーションを交えて講義いただきました！
タイの文化を知る機会となり、とても有意義な時間となりました！
私たちはタイの方々や文化に敬意を示し、これからも深い交流を続けていきたいと思います。

Today, we were honored to host a lecture on traditional Thai massage.
The instructor was Dr. Okada, a classmate of the director since their student days ✨
Affectionately known as "Dr. Noji"
First, we learned about the history of traditional Thai massage. Then, since seeing is believing, the lecture included a live demonstration!
It was a valuable opportunity to learn about Thai culture and proved to be a very meaningful time!
We wish to show respect for the Thai people and their culture, and we look forward to continuing our deep exchange moving forward.

My training in Thailand has ended, and I'm departing my second home, Ubon Ratchathani, on the morning flight ✈️
Once again, everyone came to see me off at the airport ✨
Every time, I'm deeply touched by your warm welcome. Our bond is truly like family now🇹🇭🇯🇵
I hear you're coming to Japan next year!
This time, we'll be the ones welcoming you. We'll prepare so you can fall in love with our hospital and Japan🎗
We adore all of you in Thailand💕

【タイ3日目🇹🇭】

本日も朝からMAHAVAJIRALONGKORN Hospitalで術後患者さんのリハビリデモンストレーションとプレゼンテーションを行ってきました✨
本日は当院での取り組みについて、｢ティール組織｣｢多機能｣｢KOMIケアの実践｣｢徒手療法における国際展開｣について行いました✨

医師たちはお互いの現状や今後の展開など本日も熱く語っておりました🎗
またリハビリテーションにも大変興味を持っていただき、熱心にデモンストレーションの見学と実践まで経験していただきました☺️
資料も欲しいとのことで、日本の徒手技術は今後アジアでも求められる展開になると感じました🍀*゜

【Thailand – Day 3 🇹🇭】

Once again, we started the day at Mahavajiralongkorn Hospital, where we conducted postoperative rehabilitation demonstrations and presentations for patients following surgery ✨

Today’s presentation focused on our hospital’s initiatives, including:
• the concept of a Teal organization,
• multifunctional team-based practice,
• the practical implementation of KOMI care, and
• the international development of manual therapy techniques ✨

Physicians actively exchanged perspectives on their current clinical practices and future directions, engaging in passionate discussions throughout the day 🎗
There was also a strong interest in rehabilitation medicine, with participants attentively observing the demonstrations and actively taking part in hands-on practice ☺️

Several attendees requested access to our educational materials, further reinforcing our belief that Japanese manual therapy techniques will be increasingly sought after across Asia in the future 🍀

【タイ2日目🇹🇭】

本日は朝早くにバンコクからウボンラーチャターニーへ移動✈️
3回目のウボン訪問となりました✨
空港でDr.Warunee ChaisiriとDr.Kam Ming Longが出迎えてくれました☺️
そして、MAHAVAJIRALONGKORN Hospitalに訪問し、病院長との懇談を経て毎年恒例の日本からのスナック大作戦🇯🇵
本日は午前中に理学療法士による｢足部から考えるリハビリテーションアプローチ｣のプレゼンテーションと｢中足部への日本式徒手療法｣を実際にデモンストレーションさせていただきました✨
午後は手術が予定されており、院長先生とDr.Warunee Chaisiri、Dr.Kam Ming Long とのディスカッション後に手術見学をさせていただきました✨
3回目の訪問で、より日本の技術を共有できる環境が構築できました🍀*゜
ウボンラーチャターニーもとても安全で、今回も歓迎してくれた皆さんに感謝いたします✨

🇹🇭 Thailand Day 2 | 18 Dec 2025

Early this morning, we traveled from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani ✈️
This marks my third visit to Ubon ✨

At the airport, we were warmly welcomed by Dr. Warunee Chaisiri and Dr. Kam Ming Long ☺️
We then visited MAHAVAJIRALONGKORN Hospital, had a meeting with the hospital director, and carried out our annual “Japanese snacks mission” from Japan 🇯🇵.

In the morning, our physical therapists gave a presentation on
“Rehabilitation approaches starting from the foot”,
followed by a live demonstration of Japanese-style manual therapy for the midfoot ✨

In the afternoon, surgeries were scheduled. After discussions with the hospital director, Dr. Warunee Chaisiri, and Dr. Kam Ming Long, we had the opportunity to observe the surgeries ✨

With this third visit, we have been able to build an even better environment for sharing Japanese techniques and expertise 🍀
Ubon Ratchathani is very safe, and I am deeply grateful to everyone who warmly welcomed us once again ✨

【タイ1日目 後半】

後半は現在医療ハブとして、建設が始まろうとしているパタヤを訪れました✨
とても壮大な土地にこれからの展望が楽しみとなる機会になりました😊
天気もよく、また来年も来れることを楽しみにしたいと思います🍀*゜
その後はDr.JungとDr.Tamaratともにイタリアン料理店でディナー🇮🇹🇹🇭
美味しい料理に舌鼓と笑いの多い食事会になりました‎🎗
来年の再会を約束して、1日目終了！

明日はウボンラーチャターニーに朝から移動し、プレゼンとこの1年の成果を発表してきます💪
今年で3回目🇹🇭
またウボンラーチャターニーの皆さんに会えるのが楽しみです✨

[Thailand – Day 1 | Afternoon]

In the afternoon, we visited Pattaya, a city that is about to begin its journey as a future medical hub ✨
Standing on such a vast site, it was an inspiring opportunity to imagine the possibilities ahead 😊
The weather was perfect, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again next year 🍀

In the evening, we enjoyed dinner at an Italian restaurant with Dr. Jung and Dr. Tamarat 🇮🇹🇹🇭
Great food, great conversations, and plenty of laughter—it was a wonderful time 🎗

We promised to meet again next year, and that concludes Day 1!

Tomorrow, we head to Ubon Ratchathani early in the morning to give a presentation and share the成果 of this past year 💪
This marks my third visit to Thailand 🇹🇭
I’m truly looking forward to seeing everyone in Ubon Ratchathani again ✨

【タイ1日目】

深夜に日本を経ち、3年目のタイ🇹🇭へ到着！
シーラーチャー地区にあるパヤタイ・シーラチャー総合病院を訪問させていただきました🏥
足の外科を学びに来日されたDr.Jungと再開し、病院を案内していただきました✨

リハビリテーション室ではFree Bionicsというロボットを使って片麻痺患者さんの歩行サポートを行っていました！
Free Bionicsは、｢外から動かすロボットではなく、患者自身の運動と感覚を引き出す学習型リハビリデバイス｣をコンセプトに設計されているそうです！
脊椎疾患や片麻痺の方々のより良い生活に向けたリハビリが見学でき、とても有意義でした✨

また宿泊ホテルの近くに市場があり、ドリアン初体験✨
熟しきってはいませんでしたが、美味でした😊

【Thailand – Day 1】

After leaving Japan late at night, I arrived in Thailand 🇹🇭 for my third year here!
I had the opportunity to visit Phyathai Sriracha General Hospital in the Sriracha area 🏥

I was delighted to reunite with Dr. Jung, who previously came to Japan to study foot and ankle surgery, and he kindly gave me a tour of the hospital ✨

In the rehabilitation department, I observed gait training for patients with hemiplegia using a robotic system called Free Bionics.
Free Bionics is designed not to “move the body from the outside,” but as a learning-based rehabilitation device that draws out the patient’s own movement and sensory feedback.
It was truly meaningful to see rehabilitation aimed at improving quality of life for patients with spinal disorders and hemiplegia ✨

Nearby my hotel, I found a local market and tried durian for the first time!
It wasn’t fully ripe yet, but it was surprisingly delicious 😊
