JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) requested us to visit their office to "Inquire about the working environment for foreign caregivers" in order to facilitate the acceptance and training of foreign caregivers in the future.
They visited our training center yesterday and exchanged opinions with Filipino caregivers who were just studying in our training class. This is the Houonkai Headquarters Training Center.
We have promoted human resource development not only in Japan but also in developing countries, and we have been asked by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to undertake a training program for young people in developing countries.
The Youth Training Program is an international cooperation project that invites young people from developing countries to come to Japan and undergo training in Japan to develop human resources who will be responsible for the future of their countries.
The trainees will come from countries with aging societies, and we will convey the importance of community-based welfare, which Houonkai values, to them, and we will conduct training based on our experience in human resource development so that the trainees will be able to address issues in their own communities after they return to their home countries.

This is Houonkai headquarters training center.
We are actively providing nursing care training for foreign residents too.
Currently, seven SSW Filipinos are undergoing Japanese language training for caregivers by connecting the Philippines and Japan online so that they will not have language difficulties when they come to Japan.
Everyone was full of enthusiasm and practiced pronunciation whith taking notes.
We at Houonkai will support all of them to learn the basics well and pass the nursing care worker exam after 5 years.
