Funeral Support Services offers total funeral support all throughout Japan. Repatriation services, embalming, cremation, funerals, as well as estate consulting.

We offer service in Japanese, English, Italian and Mandarin Chinese.

Last weekend we had a private family funeral service for a beloved husband and father at the Franciscan Chapel in Roppongi. The beauty and warmth of this church brings peace to families struggling with the death of their loved one. This family played their own composed music during the service. Funeral Support Services is HIRING!

We are looking for an ambitious and compassionate person to join our repatriation team.
This is a demanding position for someone who is compassionate, dedicated and well organized.
We take care of families from all over the world from different cultures, religions and backgrounds. This position is for our Japan office.

Duties:
Answering telephone and email enquiries.
Preparing quotations.
Death registration at city offices.
Attending to the requests of families in need.
Traveling around Japan when necessary.
Transportation of the deceased from police morgues and hospitals around Japan to our facility.
Guiding families at cremation ceremonies and funeral ceremonies.

Experience:
Funeral company or Insurance/Travel Assistance company industry preferred however we do on the job training.

Qualifications:
1. Fluent speaking and writing in English
2. Fluent speaking in Japanese N2 level or higher
3. Japanese driver’s license with driving experience

This winter the FSS staff has been traveling all over Japan from Hokkaido to Aomori, Niigata, Hakuba, Nagano and the Japan Alps taking care of families in need. Last week I attended the New Year party at the British Embassy in Tokyo. It was a good opportunity to connect with friends and business partners at the beginning of the year. Funeral Support Services works hard to take care of the loved ones of British families when in need. The number of British nationals traveling to and living in Japan has increased a lot over the past year.
