地区補助金事業で守山図書館に折りたたみ式の長机を贈呈して参りました。
旧守山市役所の跡地に建設された建物は備品と共に老朽化が進み、今回の事業はスタッフの方にもとても喜ばれました。
多くの区民に愛される図書館、守山ロータリークラブとして引き継ぎ応援して参ります。

名古屋守山ロータリークラブ
創立60周年記念式典・祝賀会報告

名古屋守山ロータリークラブは、2024年5月22日に創立60周年を記念した式典と祝賀会を盛大に開催しました。当日は、200名を超えるゲストが多数のクラブから参加し、クラブの歴史と成果を祝うとともに、未来への新たな一歩を踏み出す機会となりました。

記念式典では、田中友次会長の挨拶に続き、名古屋市長の河村たかし様やロータリー第2760地区ガバナーの酒井法丈様など、来賓の方々から祝辞が述べられました。また、感謝状の贈呈なども行われ、厳粛な雰囲気の中で進行しました。

祝賀会では、国内外の友好クラブの紹介が行われ、台湾の台北北薪ロータリークラブやフィリピンのTimog - QuezonCityロータリークラブのメンバーが参加し、国際的な絆を強める場となりました。和やかな雰囲気の中で、美味しい料理を楽しみながら交流が深まりました。

その後の二次会では、海外の2クラブとの懇親会が開かれ、多くの笑顔が溢れるひとときとなりました。この場で、参加者同士の親睦が一層深まり、クラブの一体感がさらに強まりました。

名古屋守山ロータリークラブは、今後も地域社会への貢献と奉仕活動に邁進してまいります。今回の60周年記念式典・祝賀会にご参加いただいた皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。引き続き、皆様のご支援を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。

The Nagoya Moriyama Rotary Club held a grand ceremony and celebration to commemorate its 60th anniversary on May 22, 2024. The day was attended by over 200 guests from a number of clubs, and was an opportunity to celebrate the club's history and achievements, as well as take a new step into the future.

At the commemorative ceremony, President Tomoji Tanaka gave an opening speech, followed by congratulatory speeches from guests including Nagoya Mayor Takashi Kawamura and Rotary District 2760 Governor Noritake Sakai. In addition, certificates of appreciation were presented, and the ceremony proceeded in a solemn atmosphere.

At the celebration, friendship clubs from Japan and abroad were introduced, and members of the Rotary Club of Taipei North Star from Taiwan and the Rotary Club of Timog - Quezon City from the Philippines participated, providing an opportunity to strengthen international bonds. In a peaceful atmosphere, we deepened our relationships while enjoying delicious food.

At the after-party, a social gathering with two overseas clubs was held, and it was a time filled with many smiles. This opportunity further deepened the friendships among the participants and further strengthened the sense of unity within the club.

The Nagoya Moriyama Rotary Club will continue to strive to contribute to the local community and engage in service activities. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in this 60th anniversary ceremony and celebration. We appreciate your continued support.

🤝 留学生のビビアンさんとガブリエラさんは、それぞれの国の文化と魅力を持ち寄り、私たちのコミュニティに新たな視野とインスピレーションをもたらしています。彼女たちの経験と物語は、国境を越えた友情と理解を深める素晴らしい機会となっています。

🤝 International students Vivian and Gabriela bring their respective cultures and charms to bring new perspectives and inspiration to our community. Their experiences and stories are a great opportunity to foster friendship and understanding across borders.
🌐 This exchange is an important step towards promoting cross-cultural understanding, international goodwill, and contributing to world peace. I feel that through the activities and growth of international students, we too can learn about the world and gain a broader perspective.

名古屋守山ロータリークラブは、青少年交換留学生として2名の支援を決定し、スイスへ栗本莉帆さん、スペインへは稲吉令臣さんを送り出すことになりました。彼らは留学前の1年間のトレーニングで素晴らしい成長を遂げました。彼らのスピーチの感動的な内容や新たな気づきに、私たち会員も大いに感銘を受けました。私たちは彼らを誇りに思います。

この支援が彼らの人生を豊かにし、世界の扉を開く一助となることを心から願っています。彼らと世界中の友情の輪が広がることを楽しみにしています。
どうぞ、お気をつけて留学生活を楽しんでください。

Nagoya Moriyama Rotary Club has decided to support two youth exchange students, Ms. Riho Kurimoto to Switzerland and Mr. Reo Inayoshi to Spain. They have made great progress during their one-year training before studying abroad. We members were also greatly impressed by the moving content and new realizations of their speeches. we are proud of them.

We sincerely hope that this support will enrich their lives and help open doors to the world. I look forward to expanding the circle of friendship with them around the world.

今期初めてのファイヤーサイドミーティングを開催しました。多くの新メンバーに加え、私たちが支援している名古屋大学大学院の留学生（成人）も参加し、とても楽しい会となりました。

笑顔が絶えず、友人たちと素晴らしい時間を過ごしました。時折涼しい？風が吹く猛暑の夜、美味しいビールとおいしい料理を楽しみながら、仲間との絆を深めることができました。

思い出に残る素晴らしい夜でした。

We had our first fireside meeting of the season. In addition to many new members, international students (of legal age) from the graduate school of Nagoya University, which we support, also participated, making it a very enjoyable party.

Always smiling and having a great time with my friends. On a very hot night with a cool breeze blowing from time to time, I was able to deepen my bond with my friends while enjoying delicious beer and delicious food.

It was a memorable and wonderful evening.

2023年7月7日から11日にかけ、名古屋守山ロータリークラブの田中友次会長(2023-24)、馬渕雅宣前会長(2022-23)、そして倉内勝広国際奉仕委員長は国際的な奉仕活動の一環として国際ロータリー (RI) 第 3780 地区、フィリピンのRotary Club of Timog – Quezon City（ケソンシティ– ティモッグロータリークラブ）を訪問しました。

メンバーは共同でベテランズ記念病院を訪れ、施設について様々な説明を受け現状を理解しました。病室の前にはロータリークラブからの過去の支援に関する掲示もあり、ロータリークラブの支援の重要性を再認識しました。

私たち名古屋守山ロータリークラブはRotary Club of Timog – Quezon Cityとの奉仕活動で、地域社会に多くの希望と幸せをもたらしたいと願い、同院で不足している「腹腔鏡手術器具」の支援を検討しています。

その後も例会、イベントやゴルフで互いの交流を深め、Rotary Club of Timog – Quezon Cityのみなさんが、私たちをもてなす「おもてなし」の心はさすがで「フィリピーノ・ホスピタリティ」を体験することができました。

彼らの明るく前向きでフレンドリーな他人への思いやりは、私たちの絆をより強くし、共に活動することの魅力を強く感じさせてくれました。

From July 7 to 11, 2023, Nagoya Moriyama Rotary Club President Tomoji Tanaka (2023-24), Past President Masanori Mabuchi (2022-23), and International Service Chair Katsuhiro Kurauchi visited Rotary International (RI) District 3780, the Rotary Club of Timog – Quezon City, Philippines, as part of their international service efforts.

The members jointly visited Veterans Memorial Hospital, received various explanations about the facility, and understood the current situation. In front of the hospital room, there was also a notice about past support from the Rotary Club, and I was reminded of the importance of Rotary Club support.

We, the Nagoya Moriyama Rotary Club, wish to bring more hope and happiness to the local community through service activities with the Rotary Club of Timog – Quezon City, and are considering supporting the lack of laparoscopic surgical instruments at the hospital.

After that, we deepened our mutual exchanges through regular meetings, events and golf, and we were able to experience “Filipino hospitality” with the spirit of “hospitality” that everyone at the Rotary Club of Timog – Quezon City treats us with.

Their bright, positive, friendly and caring attitude made our bond stronger and made us feel the attraction of working together.
