Tomorrow is National Missing Children’s Day, and as such, Pasco Sheriff’s Office is sharing apps parents and guardians should be aware of and information to include in a child identification kit.
Kids tend to spend more time on the internet and social media apps during the summer months. It’s critical to know which apps and sites they are using, who they are communicating with and remind them about online dangers.
A child identification kit helps ensure law enforcement receives the most accurate information about your child if they go missing. Identification kits should include a recent photo of your child and descriptive details such as date of birth, height, weight, hair color, eye color and any distinct physical markings.
