We’re excited to share that 500 Global, one of the world’s most active venture capital firms, and The Earthshot Prize are joining forces to accelerate climate innovation across Emerging Markets.

Through this new partnership, 500 Global will design and launch an investment strategy to de-risk early-stage climate ventures and unlock private capital for a pipeline of high-impact solutions, with rollout planned for the first half of 2026.

By combining 500 Global’s global network with The Earthshot Prize’s community of Climate Leaders, we’ll open up new opportunities to scale solutions that drive inclusive, community-led, and sustainable growth.

Yesterday, at CIC Japan - 日本最大級のイノベーションセンター Tokyo. Former astronaut Naoko Yamazaki joining us for our presentation on ClimateLabX our program targeted to Japanese corporations for transforming their businesses into sustainable and regenerative economies.

Naoko is a council member for The Earthshot Prize since the very beginning and works alongside Prince William to save our planet by innovation.

PDIE Group is an official nominator and has so far nominated 7 finalists and 2 winners at this prestigious award.

The program is working with some of these finalists to inspire corporate people to find painpoints and develop their own solutions which then can be nominated to the Earthshot Prize.

🌍 Speaker Announcement – Future of Climate Summit VOL. III

We are honored to welcome Adina Popescu, CEO and Founder of ÆRTH, as a keynote voice at the Future of Climate Summit VOL. III – Founding Assembly of the Global Regenerative Innovation Alliance (GRIA) on September 19, 2025, in New York.

🌍 Event Summary – Sustainable City Series: Spotlight on Energy

🌞 Prasoon Kumar – Co-founder, billionBricks
Prasoon opened the evening with a deeply moving talk about the power of energy to transform lives—especially in underserved communities. Sharing stories from the frontlines, he introduced billionBricks’ revolutionary approach: combining housing and solar energy into scalable, self-sufficient communities.
His message was clear: energy transition must go hand in hand with social equity and dignity.

🏙️ Joe MacDonald – Founder, Urban A&O / Former Harvard Professor
Joe followed with a visionary presentation bridging urban design and green hydrogen. Drawing from his experience as an architect and recent speaker at the PDIE Group's Sustainable City Summit VOL III, he outlined how entire cities could be powered by hydrogen, reimagining infrastructure as a living, breathing system.
His talk emphasized the role of architecture not just as shelter—but as an enabler of circular energy systems.

💼 Keiichi Suzuki – Partner, Advantage Partners
Closing the evening, Keiichi provided an investor’s lens on the hydrogen transition. Representing Japan’s oldest private equity firm, he offered insights into how their global hydrogen fund identifies breakthrough technologies and scales them with Japanese capital and strategic discipline.
He highlighted Japan’s unique opportunity to lead globally in clean energy investment, while calling for deeper collaboration across public and private sectors.
