The Board of Directors, Management, and Senior Leadership of Tenwek Hospital convened this week for a strategic leadership retreat in Naivasha focused on performance review, institutional alignment, and future planning.
Led by Board chair Dr. Rev Robert Kipkemoi Langat and Chief Executive Officer Ben Siele, the retreat provided a structured forum to assess organizational progress, evaluate key strategic milestones, and analyze operational performance across departments.
Discussions centered on strengthening governance, enhancing clinical quality and patient experience, ensuring financial sustainability, and positioning the hospital for continued growth and innovation. The leadership team engaged in thoughtful reflection on achievements to date, identified areas requiring strategic acceleration, and reaffirmed their collective commitment to excellence and faith-driven service.
The chairman underlined three guiding pillars for the institution’s continued growth: a Strong Spiritual foundation, clear Strategic focus, and a commitment to a Sustainable future.
He emphasized that enduring impact is built not only on clinical excellence and sound governance, but on faith-led leadership, disciplined strategy, and responsible stewardship that secures the hospital’s mission for generations to come.
The retreat underscored a unified leadership vision — one that prioritizes accountability, strategic clarity, and long-term impact in advancing Tenwek Hospital’s mission of delivering compassionate, high-quality healthcare.
With renewed focus and strengthened alignment, the institution moves forward with clear priorities and a shared resolve to serve its community with distinction.
