Awoche Foundation, in collaboration with Tiko Kenya, successfully held a two-day adolescent mentorship program for girls during this month of activitism.
On the first day;
The mentorship created a safe, warm, and empowering space where adolescent girls were equipped with knowledge, confidence, and practical life skills. The sessions focused on personal development, leadership, sexual and reproductive health education, self-esteem building, and understanding their rights and responsibilities as young women.
Throughout the two days, the girls actively engaged in open conversations, group discussions, and interactive activities that encouraged them to express themselves freely. Mentors offered guidance on navigating adolescence, making informed choices, and building strong values. There were also moments of fun, bonding, and encouragement—helping the girls feel supported and seen.
The collaboration between Awoche Foundation and Tiko Kenya ensured that the mentorship was not only informative but also inspiring, leaving each participant motivated to pursue their goals, protect their well-being, and step into their future with confidence.✨🌍
